It’s really amusing seeing how some westerners are getting their knickers all in a twist about the possibility of NK troops fighting for Russia. On the one hand, they say that NK is the most backward country in the world and that the soldiers will probably defect anyway. On the other hand, 3,000 NK soldiers in Russia and some are calling for NATO no less to send in tens of thousands of troops. Highly entertaining stuff.

Russia bans imports of agro-products from Kazakhstan after refusal to join BRICS

Russia bans imports of agro-products from Kazakhstan after refusal to join BRICS

The main question in such a trade is... which currency to use. BRICS suggests that the entire trade will be made in local currencies with the help of mutual clearing centers to balance imports and exports. Outside BRICS Russia must use dollar which can be earned but cannot be spend due to sanctions - so dollars are just useless sheets of paper for Russia. That`s why if Kazakhstan don`t want to join BRICS - that exactly means the entire trade with this country is not profitable for Russia.
So there is no politics here - just buisiness.

As suspected, a deployment of NK slaves are now in Kursk

North Korean troops spotted in Russian border region with Ukraine, says Kyiv

A group of North Korean soldiers have been spotted in Russia’s Kursk region, an area that borders Ukraine and has seen ongoing military operations, Ukraine’s military intelligence service announced Thursday.

In a post on its official Telegram account, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine said some North Korean troops, who had received training in Russia’s far east, have made their way to the western Russia region, where Ukraine has maintained a foothold since launching an incursion in August.

The intelligence service said the troops had been seen in Kursk on Wednesday. It added that the roughly 12,000 North Korean soldiers that have been deployed to Russia are receiving training at five military training grounds in the country’s east.

Key Republican: US should consider ‘direct military action’ if North Korean troops enter Ukraine

House Intelligence Committee Chair Mike Turner (R-Ohio) on Wednesday said the U.S. should consider taking “direct military action” if North Korean troops enter the war in Ukraine, following the revelation that thousands of soldiers from the isolated country are in Russia.

The White House said earlier Wednesday that Washington had assessed at least 3,000 North Korean troops are undergoing training at military bases in eastern Russia, with fears they will eventually be sent to Ukraine to fight alongside Kremlin forces.
