UPDATE:

we are at a better position. Waiting for evac. Then we will have 2 week rest. I will go back to thailand then come back again.

Good. When you return to the front ask your cats if you can borrow a few of their 9 lives. Might come in handy.

There is a shift from this

I don't agree, the Ukrainians are now well-equipped, well-trained, have much better intel and more motivated

Russia is now relying on more and more 6 weeks in training conscripts, digging out old tanks and no control of the skies, they are getting their butts kicked, no doubt about it.

No one wins a war. One side may defeat the other but both sides lose in the long run.

Ukraine is going to take years to recover, despite your one sided post.

That's what the west likes to think. They, the west, have lost out badly. Stockpiles of weapons and ammunition wiped out, billions of Euros spent to no avail, sky high energy costs for the foreseeable future and rapid disindustrialisation. They have only themselves to blame.

You beat me to it. Ukraine, having made an IMO strategic error by attacking Kursk, now throws more troops into a conflict far away from where they are needed in the East.

Has Zelensky given up on the East and going for an easier "victory", or is it to gain something to trade in the coming negotiations?

Pretty clear it is not only to cause Russia to burn through its troops (and North Korea's faster) but also to counter what will likely be Russia's main demand from its disastrous war -- "we get to keep whatever we have right now."

So the West is to blame for Russia invading a sovereign country at the whim of a despotic dictator?

Where do you get your wharped one sided information from?

Obviously, English is not your first language. Not only is your comprehension questionable, you need spelling lessons too.

The West is correct.  Russia has set back their economy for decades.

Like I said, that’s what the west likes to think. Check out what the World Bank has to say about Russia’s economy vs the G7 although the content might be a bit too advanced for non-economically trained minds.
