the morale of the ukrainian army is not that high anymore.. sadly. and when you think they are right. 

the biggest problem at the moment is most of the commanders are russian trained soldiers. they still living in old russian era. army really needs a wake up bell. not that big kinda need purge. 

second problem is communication. there are no communication between units. there are many times we have no idea about the unit 2-3 km from us. we even used minutemen (we named runner messengers). 

third is defence problem. russia keep doing the same old tactics and still ukrainian army not answering it. 

forth is manpower. dont have that much people now.. russians keep coming with new faces every day. it takes our at least a month to get new faces in our squad. thats serious. 

fifth is.. yes now there are many deserters. especially young guys. new comers. after few bombing or drone attack sadly they just disappear. 

sixth is there are no trench preparations. our trenches are self made. its like every soldier dig in by self. there is no trench system at all. 

seventh is russians learn real fast from their mistakes. not like before. and adapt themselves

eight is they have all the ammo.. not short of anything at all. 

 

good news:

well orcs are in more worse situation. they even have riots. in many places they dont even have food and water. their logistics is really not ok. 

they really dont care about human life. all they think is the next wave will cross the line. 

i read a lot of comments about the russian economy. sanctions and all. well many things we capture have latin writings on them. tbh mostly italian and english. some chinese. never seen korean yet. so for the weapon part i dont think they are in any short or having problem with sanctions. 

now for the country wide.. i think russia completely destroyed. now all nations know that russian army and weapons are just a toy. they are worse than cold war era. if they go on war with a serious nation.. they have no chance. putin knows this and thats why he keep mentioning nuks. he has nothing more than that. he knows his toys are nothing. his manpower doesnt want to fight. 

 

now the question you all ask.. who is winning.. well tbh it depends how you look. on the map.. on the land.. ukraine loosing and yes sadly really badly loosing. at the moment there is nothing we can stop them. it is what it is. 

on the other hand.. there is no way russia can recover from after this war. putin knows its a dead country. he needs something. he knows the russian army is a trash.. russian soldiers are a trash.. the whole world knows russia is not the 2nd or the 3th best army any more. thats the most important thing. so you decide who is winning. 

 

another thing i keep reading is comments about west media VS russian media and what to believe or not to. i can comment only with my opinion and what i saw. been to iraq, afghanistan, mexico, africa... soldier must have a code. war must have a code. must have respect. sometimes soldier must be a gentleman.. killing civs.. adopting children.. raping.. killing POWs.. etc. this is animal.. monster.. russia is not playing good. raping ukranian POWs.. being an animal.. this is not a soldier does.. 

 

in my ukraine campaign  i killed confirmed 23 not confirmed 5 russians. am i feeling sad.. sometimes yes.. but if not him its me. plus i know im on the right side. 

 

about some ASEAN members saying they are not russians.. well im a very very old member of this site. and some of the IDs i know from some years old posts.. that when you guys asking questions about your visa situation or something like that.. i do remember you mentioned your nationality... so.. no need games..

Do you see any improvement in the situation with the donated tanks, artillery, APC, drones, and the rest or does that not affect anything that you are involved with. Can your unit call in artillery support for instance.

 

You've said repeatedly about low ammunition stocks. We see articles about how much other countries have donated and it seems like a lot, but it doesn't seem to be helping on the front in your area. Do you see it getting better any time?

 

Ukraine seems to be focusing on hitting petroleum infrastructure, weapons depots, factories. Do you see any result of this and do you think it's helping

Problem is delivery. for example one country says we will give 2 arty. well it takes ages to get it. yes it arrives but really late. and they help lot. About ammo. the problem is russians cut supply roads and its not easy to pass them. truck drivers are hero. they dont care any danger and try to deliver supplies. arty is efficient at the first days of the battle then they have to move back for a safer position. drones are better. because russians attack wave after wave at some point you get out of ammo for sure. there are times we stopped 3-4 waves but 5th wave you need to change position because you are out of anything. and again communication is important. we dont know the situation of our flanks for example. we think another group still holding but then few hours later you see the guys from that squad in your squad and they say they left the area already.. and you are like so who is holding our flanks.. 

 

well hitting strategic targets always work in long run. for example you will see the results of these probably in few months, not tomorrow. 

 

at the moment the biggest problem is high rank commanders. they really need to change. their military mind is still russian cold war era.
