Thai man’s high-speed driving ends with minor injuries

A 21 year old Thai man yesterday thanked his lucky stars after only sustaining minor injuries when driving his car at a high speed, crashing into two vehicles in front of him, before falling off a bridge onto Rama V Intersection in Nonthaburi province near Bangkok.

A heartbreaking accident involving a drug-intoxicated driver resulted in the funeral of a 15 year old student, Nong Tuta, and severe injuries to several others. The incident, which occurred on May 23, saw a pickup truck carrying 30,000 methamphetamine tablets crash into a school bus on Route 3259 in Sa Kaeo Province, killing two students and injuring 19.

A 43-year-old Burmese woman, identified as Mo, and her three daughters fell victim to a violent attack by a group of over 10 transgender teenagers at a fruit festival in Trat province's public park, Thailand on Saturday, May 25. Mo lodged a complaint against the teenagers and presented a video, given to her by a witness, as evidence of the assault.

Woman's 10,000 Baht Loan Spirals into 2.6 Million Debt

A woman, who 12 years ago borrowed 10,000 baht for her child's school fees, is now grappling with a massive 2.6 million baht debt due to interest. The lady acquired the loan from a loan shark for her child's education and has been paying an outrageous 10% daily interest rate for more than 10 years. When she's unable to make the daily interest payments, the amount is added to the principal, escalating the debt. Even though she has been regularly paying, the principal amount has surged to 280,000 baht, her daughter claimed.

Move Forward Party MP sentenced to 2 years in jail for royal defamation

Initially, her sentence was three years, but the court shortened it to two years. However, they dismissed another charge against Chonthicha, accusing her of violating the emergency decree about public gatherings.
