worgeordie
Today the wife went to the tax office to register to pay tax on two rental properties , She said the man behind the counter said you don't pay tax on rentals ,as long as it's not a company renting the property. This does not seem right to me , I said you should have gotten that in writing ,surely you have to pay income tax on rental properties . First time in 35 years we have to pay land tax ? , don't know what they call it , but very little money 600 Baht ,400 Baht ,and 230 Baht on the 3 houses we have in this area , taxes are something the government are looking to collect as much as possible, land tax, tax on bringing money into Thailand ,VAT on all parcels whatever value, and just on here today, there is a delay in tax returns as the are checking them more closely ..... regards worgeordie
