A British teenager called Southgate, who had accidentally left his shoulder bag on the roof of a taxi while on vacation in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, was able to recover it, thanks to swift action by the local tourist police. The 19-year-old had traveled from Bangkok and upon arriving at his guesthouse, forgot his bag, which contained his passport and some cash.

According to Thai news sources, an anti-cannabis group known as the "Youth Network Against Cannabis (YNAC)" has forwarded a petition signed by over 100,000 people, proposing to make cannabis use illegal, except for medical and health reasons.

A 23-year-old Thai woman was severely hurt after her motorcycle crashed into the rear of a large truck on Sukhumvit Road, Pattaya, this morning, June 6th. The crash took place at 5:36 AM on the lane heading towards North Pattaya. On getting the report, Pattaya police and Sawang Boriboon rescue workers arrived at the scene.

The video showed the owner pouring hot water on the dog, called Lek, as punishment for eating treats without authorization. Following the circulation of the video, Watchdog Thailand reported the case to the police for animal cruelty.
