30 Years Lease Requirements

Recommended Posts

What are the legal requirements to hold/register a 30 year lease land and/or property in Thailand?

thanks

On your side you need a copy of your passport and need to sign the registration form of the lease at the land office.

It helps if you have a lease contract in due form signed by both parties.

The land deeds original must be provided also to register.

The lessor must show tabien baan and ID card and of course sign the contract and the registration form

I would recommend to do it with the help of a lawyer to guide you through the process but it is not a must (I paid 15,000 baht for the lawyer fee)

Good luck
