PALANG PRACHARATH SECRETARY-GENERAL Thammanat Prompao today (June 13) downplayed criticism that the relationship between the core coalition partner Pheu Thai and his own party has been strained lately.

 

Following comments earlier made by de facto Pheu Thai boss Thaksin Shinawatra which had apparently taken Palang Pracharath leader Prawit Wongsawat to task, Thammanat said he simply viewed it as an “unintended” remark.

 

Whilst responding to reporters’ questions, Thaksin had accused Prawit of standing behind a hush-hush move of 40 senators who had earlier filed an impeachment lawsuit against Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin to the Constitutional Court. Most of those senior lawmakers were viewed as personally loyal to former prime minister/de facto Ruam Thai Sang Chart boss Prayut Chan-o-cha and the Palang Pracharath leader.

    The cracks are forming.. almost a pun..

    Thammanat throwing hints that he and some others will join PTP. PPP will be cast out of the coalition. Coup military party has no legitimacy to be in the government.

    i heard he offered a poppy plant as a peace offering between the 2 parties.
