Fox Poll Has President Biden Taking a Slight Lead Over Trump

A recent Fox News poll reveals that President Biden has taken a slight lead over former President Trump in the national presidential race, with Biden securing 50 percent of the vote compared to Trump's 48 percent. This marks a significant moment for Biden, as it is the first time he has led Trump in a Fox News poll since October 2023 and the first time he has achieved 50 percent support in this election cycle.

The poll shows a three-point improvement for Biden from the previous month, where Trump held a one-point lead. When third-party candidates are considered, Biden's lead narrows to one point, with 43 percent of the vote compared to Trump's 42 percent. Independent candidates Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Cornel West garnered 10 percent and 2 percent support, respectively, while Green Party candidate Jill Stein also received 2 percent.

This shift in polling could be influenced by Trump's recent felony conviction, as various polls have indicated a gain for Biden following the legal development. Notably, Biden holds a significant nine-point lead among independent voters, a crucial demographic in the election. This marks an 11-point shift from May when independents favored Trump by two points.

Republican pollster Daron Shaw, who conducted the survey, noted that while Biden has made gains with women and senior voters, he has seen a decrease in support from younger voters and African Americans compared to 2020. Despite this, these gains have helped keep Biden competitive in the race.

The poll also reflects a slight improvement in public perception of the economy under Biden's administration. Thirty-two percent of respondents reported having an excellent or good feeling about the economy, the highest positive rating during Biden's presidency. However, a majority of 56 percent still view the economy negatively.

Biden's overall job approval rating stands at 45 percent, according to the poll. The survey included approximately 1,100 registered voters nationwide and has a margin of error of about 3 percent.

We already know Biden will win the popular vote nationally. That's not really news. It would be more interesting to see the latest polls from the only six states that will matter.

Not much “News” here…

Fox is not in the business of news…

It’s in the business of stroking its viewers for money….

Just about every time Trump opens his mouth to spew more hatred and lies, he costs himself votes. Hopefully he keeps talking. From here, I expect that it will be all down hill. The END is in sight.

I am surprised that Fox hasn't added a rider to the poll:

The polls are irrelevant to the final outcome of the 2024 election and will of the people. As in 2020 Fox will push all necessary conspiracy theories and misinformation to support Trump and his lies that he won the 2024 election independent of the actual outcome.

Here's some more facts.

Trump is the only president to be impeached twice, he's been convicted of abuse, convicted of defamation, convicted of fraud, convicted of 34....count them 34....felonies, indicted on election interference, indicted on inciting an insurrection and indicted on stealing documents. Wow! Add to that the fact that an incredible number of his "associates" have been indicted, convicted and some in jail for participating in his attempt to steal the election. Many of his MAGA who participated in J6 have been sent to jail. Then there's old Allen Wiselberg who is doing his second stint at Rikers for perjury because he won't flip on Trump (being paid off helps I suppose). What a guy! Trump's place in history will be that of criminal history......nary a good accomplishment his entire life.

A more comprehensive list for you :

  • Owner of a fraudulent charity foundation and university.
  • A proven rapist with allegations of sexual assault by more than 20 women including his wife and a 13-year-old child.
  • A proven fraudster with fines of 500 million and banned from NY business
  • Impeached twice and a convict felon on 34 criminal counts all for election interference.
  • Arrested arraigned and indicted on other 57 criminal counts which are now pending trial.
  • And as proven to be morally bankrupt also financially bankrupt 6 times

How anyone could vote for this individual devoid of any moral compass is beyond the pale.

The swing states will determine the outcome on July 4.

The fact that Americans are either willing to vote for Biden or Trump shows just how broken Politics in the USA is. When will Americans vote for a real politician as President.

Oh I forgot, spend enough money and either side can buy the Presidency.

It was the Supreme Court conservatives, who, in the Citizens United decision, exponentially increased the power of the wealthiest to influence elections.

The 2010 Supreme Court decision further tilted political influence toward wealthy donors and corporations.

I believe that Biden will not go for the election re-run if Trump didn't announce his candidacy. Trump make it official to run in November '22 and Biden in April '23. Biden being the incumbent and has beatened Trump before will obviously be the best choice to face Trump again. There is little enthusiam for Biden in this coming election but the disgust and hate for Trump will put Biden in a much more favourable position in November.

True enough, but interesting that this is the poll you wish to not hear about. After all, when Faux News even sees the Trump Train starting to derail, that's a bit concerning for our Far-Right friends.

Hopefully Trump will continue his losing streak, and will be denounced by the American people by an even wider margin than last time. And hopefully he will just slither away, rather than try to start a civil war with his nonsense and continual lies. Let us hope. I am not crazy about Biden, but I would take Pauly Shore over Trump. If he even participates, Trump will likely lose this debate badly, as his primary tool of interruption will not be available in this new format. He will likely back out like the coward he is.

Yeah agreed 👍 and I've mentioned all those and more, ad infinitum, in previous posts. This just to say he's also a "(h)UGE" LOSER🤣

No Problem won't be for long ,He'll go Down.

Hilary won the popular vote with 3 million more votes than Trump. Biden received 7 million more of the popular vote. But you can win an election with 270 college votes and just 11 states (out of 50).

To be totally accurate, Joe used a student deferment 5 times. After they ran out, he got a permanent medical deferment for his childhood asthma. Which, as you said, somehow didn't prevent him from being a lifeguard or varsity athlete.
