Trump Harris: Who won the debate ?
You are making an assertion with zero proof. I posted 2 photos of the "crowd". Can you? -

Aussie Savings Account Interest
You probably brought your house for $100,000. The same house, well, really it's just the land, is now $1.5 million in the burbs. (Sydney) Data shows people's wages haven't kept up with house prices. It's a bubble, made by interested parties, including all three tiers of government. Withhold supply to artificially drive up demand, thus prices. The banks are happy (more money in interest) the council is happy (rates) the state government is happy (stamp duty) the federal government is happy (land tax) the insurance companies are happy (higher premiums) the developers are happy (forced downsizing) the real estate agents are happy (commission) the politicians are happy (they own land set to be rezoned) employers are happy (they have property owners as slaves for employees now) investors are happy (negative gearing) and the list goes on and on. Meanwhile, here's a young Aussie couple just wanting a house in the burbs to start a family. Normal in 1991, now, they need "The Bank of Mum and Dad" to get a look in. Also, a lot of "cash in hand" back then, but not now. Difficult for young people to even save for a deposit these days. You are laughing at an Australian housing crisis that is even effecting Australia's birth rate. Australia actually needs immigration for the economy. There's plenty on the net about it. Here's an interesting historic link i stumbled across that explains my point. It's a lot worse now in 2024. https://www.9news.com.au/finance/rates-1990-versus-2007/8251875f-a878-49a5-bca6-559d2dcdb361#:~:text=Back in March 1990%2C the,up 44.99 percent of income. Maybe you can post how "lucky" these young Aussies are these days, living in "The Lucky County" while you are laughing at them at 6.5% interest rates. Clearly, you are out of touch with what is happening back in Australia to our kids, and grand kids. -

Trump: “There Will Be No Third Debate!”
I think with your conviction of a trump win you should cash in on those bookmakers giving you better than even money .then come back in November and remind us how much you won. Or in my opinion tell us why you and Donald were cheated. I'm on the edge of my seat to hear about the concept of his plan for healthcare -

Reduce taxation by gifting.
No, its not. Have you ever paid taxes anywhere? Then you should know how it works: the tax office tells you how much they think you should pay. They don't have to sue you. You have been told twice already, you are free not to believe it. Maybe rules in down under are upside down, I doubt it. -

Trump Harris: Who won the debate ?
About the same Harris gets from sounding like a lunatic. “So Ukraine is a country in Europe. It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine. So, basically, that’s wrong.” “It is time for us to do what we have been doing. And that time is every day.” “We got to take this stuff seriously, as seriously as you are because you have been forced to have taken this seriously“ "The governor and I, we were all doing a tour of the library here and talking about the significance of the passage of time, right, the significance of the passage of time. So, when you think about it, there is great significance to the passage of time in terms of what we need to do to lay these wires. What we need to do to create these jobs. And there is such great significance to the passage of time when we think about a day in the life of our children." And you people think she’s the messiah! -

For all you lovers of the antics of Thai taxi drivers
It is far too complicated for Thailand to manage. Anything of substantial complexity just seems to fall apart for them. I can think of three different ways that politicians can make money from this scheme. Once they figure that out, they will start to enrich themselves and the whole thing will collapse. 1. Take bribes under the table from accused taxi drivers, to make their accusation just disappear. 2. Take kickbacks from the company hired to create the database that manages this whole. 3. Take a kickback from companies competing to create the training class, in order to award the contract. -

New McCharthyism Sweeping the USA and the World?: What examples have you seen?
The fact that Folau was made to sign a contract in which he had to agree not to state his views on morality in public makes this even worse! That’s an outrageous violation of the right to freedom of speech, and is a perfect example of where I said in my original post that if I were still employed, I’d be wary about making statements that could offend the woke. You state that he didn’t lose any fundamental right of free speech, but he lost his job, due to an outrageous contractual obligation. That’s like saying that someone living in Putin’s Russia has full freedom of speech, but shouldn’t complain if he’s thrown in prison for opposing Putin’s war, as although his speech might be free, what he says has consequences. On speaking in tongues, blaming bushfires on lack of morality, that just reinforces my opinion of Folau’s lack of sanity. I suspect our views on moral issues are similar, it’s just that my understanding of the meaning of free speech is more robust, to say the least! The out of court settlement was confidential, but I trust it cost Rugby Australia a very large sum of money as a result of their unforgivable conduct. -
