Bicycles for hire or sale in Pattaya?

Featured Replies

Hello members.

A friend of mine enjoys riding bicycles either as low cost local transport and for leisure, exercise & exploring.

He was hoping to either buy or rent a cycle on his next trip to Pattaya.

Any thoughts or tips on securing a bicycle for his holidays.

He doesn't mind a Mountain Bike style with or without front suspension, but he's open to suggestions.

PS: He on the thrifty side.

thanks

R

How thrifty  ???

Plenty of bikes for sale on FaceBook market place.

Alternatively - Decathlon... he'll be able to get a decent bike for about 8000 baht - but, again, how thrifty...

I'd say maybe 2,500b.

He has Northern U.K. bloodline.

He's only there on holidays so more a maintained beater, rather than a keeper.

There are a number of businesses offering bike hire on the road past Map Phrachan reservoir.

Alternatively I have in the past hired a bike from ‘Easternbike’ shop, located on Sukhumvit between the Narklua traffic lights.
