Not sure why you guys keep repeating this because it's not going to happen.  So yes, it will be the old man against the lying conman.  America will have to choose between the two.

As much as I wish for 2 better candidates, I agree that it is much too late to change course. The delegates are locked in for both and they will received their support at their respective party convention. All Biden's replacement s like Whitmer, Newsome and Shipiro have pledged their support and will not change. Biden's fund raising machinery is hard to be replaced. Only him alone can made the decision if he want to carry on and he has shown no sign that he is backing off. This debate is a one-off event and will be forgotten . It is still 6 months away and too soon to made any election conclusion.

This isn't a "one-off". It's the latest in a long series of embarrassing events that show his rapid deterioration. There will be many more, probably worse than this inept showing. 

 

It's bordering on elder abuse at this point. But as the Dems have shown, they will stop at nothing to try to retain power. So if they need to keep trotting Joe out, that's what they will do.

 

Strap in, this could be a difficult watch.

The average life expectancy for American men is 73 years. Both these guys are way over it. Had the Republicans nominated almost anybody else, the election would now be a runaway. BTW, somewhere between 2020 and today, Trump lost his neck. It's now just a solid jowl. With Biden malfunctioning this bad, however, you wonder who is actually running the country right now.

I think this is the crux of it.

 

There are many people behind the scenes quite happy with Joe's mental state because it allows them to run the country by proxy. Just wheel Joe out for a public appearance now and then, hope he doesn't fall over or say something stupid and get back to running the show themselves.

Everyone knows that Biden was hiding for more than a week to prepare. Just look at his official schedule- he went from a weekend at his beach house 10 days ago straight to Camp David and has been surrounded by handlers getting him ready. Everyone in the media acknowledges this.  Frankly, he would be foolish NOT to prepare.
