I'm going to Kuala Lumpur on 10th July and I've been told "Bukit Bintang" is the place to stay and Holiday Inn was reccomended as a good hotel close to the street full of Western style bars (don't know what it's called). I then thought go to Penang for a week. Does anyone know of anywhere else to spend another week (I know nothing about Malaysia and Google is not a lot of help) Appreciate any comments Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Happy for nightlife to be close by to enjoy good food, cheap beers and possible bands? Love beaches so thought Penang would cover that as well as all the other things?
