Following a car bomb explosion in Yala on June 30th, the Commander of the Fourth Army Region has highlighted the importance of stricter security measures at checkpoints. He explained that lax checks could enable insurgent activities. The explosion, which occurred at the Bannang Sata Police Station, damaged over 30 police flats, several administrative offices, and more than 10 vehicles, including the one used in the attack. It led to one death and wounded 29 others.
