Receive new Kbank debit card procedure 2024?
The system has changed, there is no need to visit your bank branch. I ordered the new replacement card on the KPlus app. A new card was delivered registered mail to my home with 4 days. You then activate the card on your KPlus app at home using the new card number and get a temporary PIN immediately. You then go to any ATM within 90 days and change the temp PIN to anything you like. This all came instructed on the paper card enclosing the new debit card in the post, all in Thai language with not a single word in English, so I used Google Translate for that. -

Trump Revoked Flood Protections for Millions of Americans
The Flood-Protection Rule That Trump Rolled Back One policy he eradicated that day was a set of standards aimed at ensuring that anything built with taxpayer money — including hospitals, sewage treatment plants, bridges and libraries — could withstand flooding and rising seas caused by climate change. When Trump was elected, he took aim at every policy linked to the phrase “climate change” and repealed it. President Biden reinstated the standard, which went into effect at most agencies this year. https://archive.ph/7bfMq#selection-675.0-679.117 -

Security Tightened in Khon Kaen Mall After Shooting Threat
Picture courtesy: Siam Rath On 17 October 2024, at 5:00 p.m., it was reported that a social media post from the Facebook page "Khon Kaen Complaints" circulated widely across Khon Kaen. The post featured a message from a Burmese man threatening to carry out a shooting at a prominent shopping mall in the city centre. Upon investigating the matter, reporters discovered that over 100 armed police officers and local officials had been deployed around the mall. Security was reinforced at all entrances and exits, and thorough checks were conducted on those entering and leaving the premises, following strict safety protocols. Khon Kaen Governor Kraisorn Kongchalad confirmed that both uniformed and plainclothes officers, as well as administrative personnel, were stationed inside and around the mall. Police patrols also monitored the surrounding area, including car parks, to ensure maximum security. Forces from Khon Kaen Police Station, the tourist police, a SWAT team, and volunteers were on high alert, ensuring the situation remained under control until the mall closed. Picture courtesy: Siam Rath Meanwhile, investigators were reviewing social media activity and working closely with the mall to guarantee safety. Authorities have already identified a suspect, and further investigations are underway. Despite the threat, the mall’s operations continued normally, with security forces maintaining strict vigilance across the site, reported Siam Rath. -- 2024-10-18 -

Tell me why Pattaya to BKK by his
For almost 1 year I was going Bangkok twice per month (sometimes just for the day to go see my Dentist, others overnight see my mates), never had anything more than a rucksack with me so would take the bus & the roundtrip costs would be:- 2 x 100B Bolt (approx. 25B tip in each of those) to/from Pattaya Nua Bus Station = 200B 2 x 131B RR Bus (may have gone up now) = 262B 2 x 70B (this is a guess, I just topped my cards up when they got low) for the BTS/MRT to Silom = 140B Total = 602B Taxi (Condo to Dentist) would probably be around 1,500B (You can get it on Bolt for around 1,250B + Tolls but you risk the driver not wanting to take you, Grab is more likely to take you but you're looking at around 1,700B) - add on + I00B Tip = 1,600B so a saving of 998B (x 4, I was doing 2 return trips per month) = 3,992B per month saving. But I agree, if I were lumping luggage around with me I would choose the Taxi route -
