Tr Visa Ristrictions?

Featured Replies

Hi!

I know there is a 90:180 day limit on the 30 day stamp:

Does a similar thing apply to the 60 day Tourist visas?

Any help appreciated.

No.

No limit on Tourist Visas, but, some consulates and embassies will only issue you 2 a year (Laos for example).

I've had 4 TR visas from Laos with no problems.

Skyline, had you been going to Vientiane or Savannakhet?

I had also seen that "2 tourist visas in one calendar year"

referenced a few times but when I went to Savannkhet

last week there were people getting their 3rd TR?

I was getting my 2nd and nothing was ever said to

discourage me from coming back and getting a 3rd? :o

you have this backward. the limit on the stamp is of course - 30 days.

teh time limit on the tr is six months (maybe 5 i forget), but def has a limit.

The rule is not more than 90 days in a six month period using visa exempt entry (30 day stamps).

There is no restriction using visa entry and the days on visa entry do not count toward the 90 day total.
