Hamas felt that the possibility of Saudi Arabia joining the Abraham Accords could lead to annexation of the West Bank and ehtnic cleansing of the Palestinian people.

The main reason was Iran seeing  their two arch enemies , Saudi Arabia  and Israel becoming  friends and other Arab Countries also normalising relations with Israel .

Iran wanted Israel to remain  ostracised and to achieve that they funded and organised the Oct 7 th attack .

The Iran/Hamas attack on Israel was to put a stop to peace talks in the region

Or maybe you should stop asking rhetorical questions and provide the information yourself.

Israel is showing the world how to deal with Muslim extremists. Attack is sometimes the best form of defence.

Credit where it is due, Biden is providing the weapons. Thanks Joe.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is giving jD Vance a lesson in foreign policy  with Israel by giving the snub. Mighty embarrassing for the newly minted running mate with the silent treatment by Netanyahu. Much to learn for the foreign policy novice.

Ya think? Prove it - as every single signal sent out by the Gulf states has been they want nothing to do with Gaza. Feel free to point out the vast Palestinian refugee camps in the Gulf to support your argument. And have a look at the Abraham Accords where Muslim states recognised Israel and abandoned their historical support for Gaza.

I find it amazing that people who purport to be knowledgeable on this topic don't understand the anti-Palestinian vibe in the Middle East. Here's a question for ya'll -

Why do you think the Gulf States turned against the Palestinians? The answer is obvious.

It's clear you're conflating what the rulers of those states want with the views of the vast majority of their populace.

Positive views of Hamas receive a jump while remaining the minority opinion among Saudi citizens; most agree that Israel is “weak and divided.”

According to responses, the Saudi popular attitude towards the outcome of the war is clear: the overwhelming majority (91%) express agreement with the statement that “despite the destruction and loss of life, this war in Gaza is a win for the Palestinians, Arabs, and Muslims.” And as for the role of the broader Arab world, almost all (96%) agree with the proposal that “Arab countries should immediately break all diplomatic, political, economic, and any other contacts with Israel, in protest against its military action in Gaza.” ..."

As for other Sunni countries

"While Hamas as a movement remains unpopular among the majority of Saudis—in contrast to a new trend of widespread popular support in countries like Lebanon, Jordan, and Egypt—just 16% of Saudis say that “Hamas should stop calling for the destruction of Israel, and instead accept a permanent two-state solution to the conflict based on the 1967 borders.”
