Phuket – An Australian father is urgently seeking assistance to locate his missing son, who is believed to be in Phuket.

Mrs. Roongnapa Putkaew, President of the Phuket Lawyer Council, informed the Phuket Express that on Tuesday (July 23rd), a volunteer lawyer at the Chalong Police Station received a formal assistance request from Mr. Darren Stephen Cramer, a 55-year-old Australian national. Mr. Cramer has traveled from Australia to Phuket in search of his son, Mr. Kieran James Cramer, 28.

Mr. Darren reported that his son arrived in Thailand on July 1st. He has been out of contact with him for more than 15 days. The last known location of Mr. Kieran was in Bangkok, and he was scheduled to be in Phuket around this time.

In Phuket it's soi sippit (11), or at least it was last time I was down there. No idea if it's still operating.

Is it normal that an official organization follows a request to find an adult person, and "volunteer" indicates that this might happen for free?

Is there any indication a crime might have happened?

I wonder how the concerned father will feel if he finds his son, enjoying his life to the fullest.

Gone walkabout...

For once the son is free, he is wanted by the police, no lucky

Age 28? I don't think he needs Daddy looking after him on a daily basis.

Perhaps Daddy just wanted an excuse to join in the fun. Needed a story for Mummy back home.

The missing son definitely looks very vulnerable. Help me to find my innocent child!

I cannot compete with that but back in the late '60s I left home aged 17.

After a year or so, my mum asked my uncle to check and see if I was OK - she had not heard from me.

Uncle found me no problem but admitted that he was not sure how to tell mum. I was living with three girls.

(I think that he wanted to move in!)

Strange, not any report of Missing man in Police station?.🤔

Missing Australian man found in Bangkok

An Australian man who had been missing for two weeks in Thailand has been found but he refuses to speak.

The missing Aussie’s father had sought help in finding his 28 year old son, Kieran James Cramer, who had been missing for 15 days. Cramer, a nursing student, vanished shortly after arriving in Thailand on July 1.

He last contacted his family on July 7 from Bangkok, just before he was due to travel to Phuket. For 15 agonising days, his worried family had no idea where he was or if he was safe.

Kieran’s father, 55 year old Darren Stephen Cramer, flew from Australia to Thailand to join the frantic search for his son, who has not been heard from since arriving in the country. Fearing for his son’s safety, Cramer filed reports with the Chalong Police, the Australian embassy, and even Interpol.

This morning, Cramer shared a bittersweet update with Daily Mail Australia.

“We found him in Bangkok but he won’t talk to us. We are very worried about his safety at the moment.”

Despite locating Kieran, the mystery surrounding his disappearance has only deepened. He had not registered in any hotels, complicating efforts to track his movements. The reasons for his silence and the details of his two-week ordeal remain unknown, leaving his family in a state of anxious uncertainty.

Rungnapa Phutkaew, President of the Phuket Lawyers Council, confirmed that the older Cramer approached the volunteer lawyers and police for help. Cramer stated that his son’s last known location was in Bangkok but he was scheduled to be in Phuket by yesterday.

Despite efforts to contact him, there has been no communication for over two weeks, raising concerns about his safety, reported Daily Mail UK.

“We are deeply worried about Kieran’s well-being and are appealing to the public for any information that might help us locate him.”

yeah, same. the dude probably off enjoying himself somewhere, he is an adult after all.

i was reminded of a similar situation years back, where a mother was posting all over social media saying her daughter was missing, eventually after a week or so of hysteria it turns out they had had a domsstic dispute and the girl was perfectly fine just didn't want to speak to her family.

( wss editing my comment when the new info by webfact was posted) possibly a similar situation.

So why won't he talk to his family then ?

  • Popular Post

Thanks for nothing. It is because of these kind of "not posted on FB" that we had the TM30 forced on us. Seems it didn't do much to locate this person - perhaps Imm should focus on condo owners and hotels not filing rather than just people extending at an Imm office.

On a somewhat related note,

Darren reports that he has met a young lady who eager to help him reconnect with his son. He says that they have become quite close in a short period of time.

He vowed to continue to work with her until things have worked out and that they are staying together in Bangkok to save on expenses.

I'll try and call him for an answer, be patient, it may take some time, after all, he's not talking!

He was probably shacked up with "Noi" and "Lek" at their apartment and having the time of his life.
