Certainly more than you did about Vance.

Vance is 40yo and has normal family values. Speaks well, looks healthy. The other guy looks sick, old and has weird views. Have not see many 60yos that look 75yo. Walz does.

Creepy. Another old dude excited by random kids.

You can actually tell from his body language that this is not the case. The test of whether physical contact with children is appropriate is whether the contact by the adult is "giving" or "taking." In the clip he was signing a free school lunch program and I'm sure the kids were genuinely appreciative and he had reason to celebrate this because as a former teacher he knew how much it would help the kids. If you can't tell the difference between the wholesomeness of this interaction in the presence of numerous adults and someone "grooming" or taking lascivious pleasure from physical contact with children, I feel sorry for you.

He is neither left wing, nor a socialist. His political views reflect those of a rural farm upbringing with a strong dose of christianity where people rely on their neighbors for support and help each other.  Do not confuse social responsibility with urban leftism.

Let's let a fellow Minnesotan who knows Pawlenty well speak:

Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, a Republican, said the choice of current Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as Vice President Kamala Harris' running mate shows Democrats are doubling down on a "democrat-socialist agenda."

. . .

"She has sort of the San Francisco, California, vibe. He's going to have sort of the Bernie Sanders in hunting gear vibe," said Pawlenty. "So, it's the same product, just in different wrappers."

--Former Minnesota GOP governor sums up Tim Walz VP pick: 'Bernie Sanders in hunting gear'

You don't have to explain yourself.

Why shouldn't kids like free stuff? He knew how much it would help him, politically. Let's not be naive.

I asked this question on the "who will Kamala Pick as VP" thread.

The question should be, Who is dumb enough to want to be Harris's VP, knowing Harris hasn't a chance of winning?

Looks like we have an Answer! LOL. Tim Walz, never heard of him before so must be a nobody.

yeah Shapiro met her and his spider senses went off. He actually wants to be president some day.

That means nothing. I'll wait for the real vote on the 5th of Nov. She still hasn't a hope of winning!

I wouldn't say that but i don't think Walz helps her in PA and she must win that state. Her path to 270 is very thin otherwise.

Democratic VP Pick Tim Walz to J.D. Vance: You’re ‘Weird as Hell’

"Walz, Harris said, is a man with many titles: governor, congressman, husband, dad, Army sergeant major, teacher and coach.

“And in 91 days, the nation will know Coach Walz by another name: vice president of the United States,” Harris said to nearly deafening applause and cheers inside an overflowing 10,000-seat basketball arena on the campus of Temple University.

The newly formed Harris-Walz campaign, within the span of just hours, attracted not just big crowds, big energy and big stars—but big money. The campaign announced Tuesday evening it had raised more than $20 million since that very morning's announcement of Walz as Harris' running mate."

It's been two or three weeks since Harris became top of the ticket and Trump still doesn't have a strong attack against her, and they've known for years that she's on the ticket. Now they have absolutely nothing against the well credentialed VP pick, so there's no chance they can put up a credible attack before Nov 5.

In all fairness she has been keeping it on the down low. She hasn't seen daylight the entire time.she came up for air on a teleprompter today.
