Please bring back Prayuth. And now get rid of the changes at immigration and taxes.

  • Karma as he stuck the knife into MFP.

  • Who's next then?   I've heard Prayut is waiting in the wings (again)... Or will it be Tony's daughter? Chuwit? Lord Watches? Liz Truss?? Boris Johnson??? !!!

Its Not Who is put forward for PM  Its a numbers game Do they have the votes ??? it is ALL the MP to vote, Plus it can only be the candidates Originally put forward in 2023, and as MF only put forward Pita and now he is banned they will not have a candidate. but i would say any of the military will not have the numbers, so  Pheu Thai's PM candidate is looking good  but its a numbers game anything could happen

Think this reason was just an excuse, the CC was just obeying orders

Yes, dear George, a coup would be the only good solution.

But is it an ethical violation?

Unbelievable--especially after just booting MFP.  No shame whatsoever.

one important question... are the new mfp 'people party' mp's allowed to vote for the new pm?

-- are they an official party yet?  if so, i dont think they will favor puke thai

Could it be that the Thai elites were not happy with his taxation plans? Come to that, I wasn't either.

I really won't bat an eye if they "dissolve" him too; let him follow the seasonal trend.

[...]    Although, in the short term, let's hope we all benefit from the baht going down... would be nice.

Apt analysis, though the baht might find some support in the demise of the digital wallet.

Could also be many in the business community worried about the dumping of cheap Chinese goods everywhere.

Like clapped-out submarines, you mean???

At least they are operating. The UK  and Canadian submarine fleets are mostly  inoperable.

The headline says "Axed" which means he was fired. But he wasn't. Ya'll need to brush up on headline writing skills.

So goodbye then Jet Srettha. Maybe Thailand will get a PM who does something other than photo opps and junkets.

They could get one that grows medical gunga

I wonder who will be the next pm ...hmmm head scratcher this one.

At this moment in time he has been found 'in breach of ethics'......does that automatically translate into being 'axed'?

He must have the right to appeal.......doubt this is over yet.

It's over. The old guard is doing their best to stem the tide of change. Not allowing "you know who" to leave the country sends another message. However, the people of Thailand will, hopefully, get to decide in the next election.

I can't see the Pheu Thai (and Thaksin) allowing Anutin to take the reigns but, really, who is qualified?

put it to the people

let the people decide - isn't that what democracy does ?

So the largest party now is the People’s Party, so they will have first shot at forming a new coalition right?

No

The corrupt military appointed senate, along with the corrupt military aligned judges are a disgrace to the country and it's citizens.

Thailand's establishment continues to put themselves first and the future of the nation last.

Most certainly will "axe" the B10,000 digital wallet handout. The only good thing the Giant Puppet accomplished. All the wife's kinfolk counting on it. Some had it already spent. 🤣
