Thailand Visa Exemption (60 days) and Visa On Arrival (VOA) (15 days)
You are totally confused. If what you say is true, you will have a non O visa based on being married to a Thai. That is good for 90 days. If you want to do an extension of stay, that will be for 1 year, not 60 days. You will also need to fulfill many requirements, which I won't get into now. If you want only 60 days, you can still do the one years extension, but that would be a waste of time if you only will stay for 60 days. In this case, do a border run the day your visa expires, this means on the day your 90 days permission to stay expires. Then come back from the border run on visa exemption and get 60 days permission to stay. Then leave the country before that expires and go home. You can get a re entry permit on the initial 90 days permission to stay if you want, but it won't make sense unless you come back during that first 90 days. On the other hand, you could do the 1 year extension of stay based on marriage and get a multiple entry re-entry permit. That way you can come and go for 1 year on. the same extension of stay. For this extension, you will need a Thai bank account with 400,000 baht inside. You won't be able to use the income method for the first extension as your embassy more than likely won't issue the income verification letter. Only a very few countries still do this. The account will need to be opened almost very soon after you arrive as the funds need to show 2 months before the extension. Then you will need photos of you and your wife at your place of residence in multiple rooms and in front of the address sign, a hand drawn map of the house or condo, a bank letter certified from the bank confirming the funds are there, a copy of your bank statement, and a few other items, such as a TM30 depending on what immigration office. This should get you in a position to make a decision. if you only want a 5 month stay, come on the marriage visa, do a border run to get 60 more days, and then leave before the end. -

And yet the white liberals of the forum, who have never been to Springfield or lived amongst Haitians in their neighborhoods claim it’s all false. -

Latest carmaker to scale back its EV ambitions amid slowing sales
EV's are kinda OK depending on where you live. Small dense countries, it kinda makes sense I guess distances are short. For me driving to see our kids in Denver is 360 miles, through basically Wyoming nothingness. Now I can do it on a tank of gas, and refueling takes me less than 5 minutes when I do reach civilization. Now if I run out of charge in said middle of nothingness, not sure that AAA can bring me a 'tank' of electricity to get me on my way. I never believed EV's are the long term future, much more inclined to believe Hydrogen fuel cells are the real green solution to climate change for transportation -

SSO THAI
Hello everyone, I have a question. My gf and I are expecting a baby. We are both member of SSO Thai for years now. I have several questions regarding SSO. 1. Is the 13,000 THB Maternity Benefit only applicable to the mother? 2. We have registered Sikarin hospital as hospital for SSO but we were told that SSO does not cover the OB and the delivery. Is this mostly the case for all hospital? Thank you. -

Latest developments and discussion of recent events in the Ukraine War
Starmer just off the Xmas card list. I think its interesting since both the US and UK sent people to go and find out why Ukraine wanted the missiles and what their plan was.It seems to me that the US and UK didnt like the answer that Ukraine gave. -

It's Kyiv my friend Kiev is the Russian spelling and verboten in the modern era. As for Afghanistan let's just say the west beat a speedy retreat leaving billions of dollars of kit behind and I can't bring up Israel here lest I stray off topic -so I won't. -
