Neo-Nazi group helped fuel the unproven anti-Haitian animal claims that Trump later spread
And NONE of those claims made by Trump or reported-posted elsewhere have thus far been shown to be true or verified-substantiated, regarding the notion of Haitians in Springfield harming pets or other animals. It's simply a bunch of unproven, unsubstantiated claims, no matter the volume, that was largely set off by Trump's presidential debate claims and continuing similar claims in the wake of the debate. Editorial today from the local Springfield News-Sun newspaper: OUR VIEW: Viral misinformation about immigrants in our community will lead to violence. Only you can stop it. ... "We are deeply concerned for the safety of Springfield residents, including the estimated 12,000 to 15,000 Haitian immigrants now living here legally. ... We repeat: There is no evidence to substantiate the hateful, racist accusations that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio are doing anything to people’s pets. ... Responsible leadership requires following the facts. It is incredibly irresponsible – and dangerous – for candidates and elected officials to traffic in unsubstantiated rumors in order to advance a political agenda." https://www.springfieldnewssun.com/ideas-voices/our-view-viral-misinformation-about-immigrants-in-our-community-will-lead-to-violence-only-you-can-stop-it/KRPF263KFVARVHAHGKXQUYXJ2A/ -

Trump: “There Will Be No Third Debate!”
Kamala did not say that "Trump was responsible for the pandemic". You must've been watching the Simpsons. The orange moron though was responsible for the response to the pandemic in that it was late and slow, resulting in 10s of thousands of preventable deaths. "Could they be injected with disinfectant?" -

Any advantages to retirement over marriage visa?
The problem being the stamp isn't translucent, so they can't stamp, so your signatures falls directly on the line it should. Whether you can sign them in the comfort of your home or at the Immigration office is immaterial - they all have to be signed regardless. -

Latest carmaker to scale back its EV ambitions amid slowing sales
Well Toyota doesn't include them in their EV numbers. Again you know that or are obtuse. Below is your reply to mine. You are obviously combining their hybrid sales in their EV sales number. Now you are just stammering nonsense because that is what you do. Your reply: Toyota have been selling EV's from 1997 "In 2023, Toyota Motor Corporation sold approximately 3.68 million electrified vehicles (EVs) worldwide" BTW, you added The (EV) after the electrified vehicles. Silly yes but it is what you do. 1% of Toyota cars sold are EVs and this is using their numbers . Hence the reason I have never seen one on the roads 🙂 -

Don’t kill the golden goose! Tax reforms may drive away expats
Don't be a douche Rolf, we're trying to work out how the process works! I said earlier that I guaranteed there had to be some way the TRD was guaranteed its taxes, before the taxpayer left the country and there is broadly is. The responsibility for taxes is transferred to the employer who becomes the taxpayer's proxy. That makes sense because the employer remains here hence they don't care if the taxpayer leaves or not. But you can't overlay that model onto non-WP holders because there is no proxy to take responsibility for paying their tax, unless some form of guarantee were to exist, which is where the 400k/800k could potentially prove useful. -

Shipping an E bike from UK to Thailand.
My neighbor left his e-bike in Germany then came over here and decided he wanted an e-bike here. He went to Cadence in Jomtien and bought a very nice Trek e-bike(Rail 9.9?) for 200,000 baht. It was slightly used but you can't tell as it looks brand new. I believe it sells for over 400,000 baht new so he got a great deal. I was not a believer in e-bikes until he let me ride it and My God! it's by far the best bike I ever rode. He has all sorts of toys so he never rides it just sits in the parking lot near his high end scooters..it drives me mad! -

New McCharthyism Sweeping the USA and the World?: What examples have you seen?
I don't see how China and Russia are to blame. They've seen what happened in the US and they've just capitalized on the sheer lunacy of it. But there's a new wave of thinly disguised bigotry and hate coming from America. It's been going on since early Trump days, but I really believe he ushered in this new era of in yer face I'll say what I like and if you don't like it, f off. Thing is, pre internet, you couldn't get away with it down the pub, as somebody would simply give you a slap, and down you'd go. Or not. Now of course, we don't even know to whom or what we're talking, so the whole thing is just farcical. It's just an endless argument. The rise of the conspiracy theorists and disinformation actors too. I mean thousands make a living out of generating lies and BS. And they're famous! Tucker, Loomer, Taylor, Wohl, Buckman, Jones. There's thousands of them. Yeah, leftist has become the insult of choice, followed by Marxist, liberal, etc etc. Commila? Democrats are Marxists? Yeah Trump's to blame for sure.
