And yet the voters of  the state disagree with you. Despite your claims, he did win a Republican district when he defeated Republican Gil Gutknecht, a six-term incumbent. He was elected multiple times and served from 2007 to 2019.  When he ran for Governor he was elected twice defeating his Republican rivals. He can't be that unpopular if he has a consistent winning record.
