One2call Ads Pop Ups

Featured Replies

Hi!

A couple of friends of mine are having these constant pop ups on their phones. They are not received as ordinary SMS but are, in this case, activating the phone illumination and the ad is shown, consequently draining the battery.

Phone models SonyEricsson K510 and K550.

Anyone know how to get rid of this?

Thanx

Call AIS on 1175 and ask them to deactivate "mobilelife" OR look on the menu system on your phone and deactivate it from there. Not sure where you would find it on those phones though.. If i had to make an educated guess it would be under settings>>connectivity

Thank you.

I will tell them to call AIS and disconnect the "mobilelife" thingy.

We alredy tried to uncheck the adversitments in the settings menu on the phone - no success.

I was able to get rid of these annoying messages, if I remember correctly, it's the cell info feature.

For me, it was in the "Entertainment" menu, and I think "AIS service". I'm not sure. There will be a lot of things with a checkbox checked, you just uncheck all of them.

Very very annoying to get these constant ads by default, and it uses up a lot of battery life.
