It looks like we will never know who was actually behind it. It could be a coalition of garbage republicans like Cheney and garbage democrats of which there are just too many to name. Add into the mix any coalition of letter agency heads and perhaps even foreign influences. Maybe powerful bankers and assorted other interests who are profiting from the combination of earning interest on printed money which is funneled into the defense industry for the manufacture of weapons for endless wars.

Every president in my lifetime has gotten into a kerfuffle about taking their personal papers when they left the White House.  Trump's the only one that's been prosecuted for it.  Dismissing the case was the only way the American legal system could work properly.

It's particularly funny because Biden had the same issue but was found too old and likeable to prosecute, whereas they threw the book at Trump. Talk about different rules apply.

 Someone is going to vomit out that the difference is that Biden cooperated, completely ignoring the fact that Biden admitted to having classified documents in the basement back in 2017 and didn't "cooperate" until 2022.  And then, only under duress.

 

I contend that the real difference is that president Trump had the authority to declassify anything he wanted.  Ex-senator Biden wasn't even allowed to have those documents outside the SCIF, much less in his wide open garage.

Biden may pardon Trump, because the Dem elite have nothing they can hold over him.  And he's pretty pissed at them.  But if Harris is elected, she's got to worry about support from the Dem elite, and a 2nd term.  They can throw her under a bus and they'd be just as happy with Walz as their cutout.

True, but some of his appeals will not make it to his minions on the Supreme Court. New York, Georgia, Arizona, Michigan. He is in a lot more trouble than just Federal Court. He will be in court for the rest of his crooked life.

AFAIK Trump is the only President who deliberately concealed the fact he had taken top secret papers, then lied about how many had been returned. Which led to the FBI raid.

IMO "Freedom of Speech" in the US context is poisonous and thoroughly abused. I bet the Founders never thought the likes of trump would be accepted as a President of the USA. IMO the Constitution should be completely revamped to reflect modern times, but the political environment is so corrupted it will not happen.. For sure the Constitution is not reflected in the behaviour of the current Republican Party, except a very few, they have totally failed to abide by their Oath of Office and not worthy of the title Congressmen / Senator.

The point I was making is that the only thing he's been convicted of is a NY state crime.  The president can't pardon him there. 

 

The federal charges are running off him like water off a duck Springfield goose, due to SCOTUS decisions and conscientious judges... 

 

Ask Biden how he feels about Dem Elites...  I'd post links to the insider rumors, but they'd be from unapproved sources.  The MSM won't cover it until after Nov 6.  A curious sort could find them easily enough.
