How do they personally affect me? Well I wasnt a crime victim this summer, but you can sure see it in the prices. Hell you used to be able to get a roast chicken at the grocery for $6.99, they are $9.99.

Soon, Trump and Vance will claim that "they" are once again trying to silence him. Who are "they"? Anyone who opposes Trump. On the campaign trail, Vance has suggested that "they" tried to silence Trump through impeachment, the courts, and now, through assassination attempts. This tactic is known as stochastic terrorism—political violence incited through inflammatory public rhetoric. It's the same kind of rhetoric that led to the events of January 6th.

It would surely be better for Trump to be removed at the ballot box, not by bullets. This is also stochastic terrorism, as he's targeted a specific minority group (Haitians) in the two small towns. They are at risk for their lives now. It's a kind of blood libel, since pets are seen as family members.

A second attempt puts both candidates at an elevated risk for political violence, which is extremely worrisome from the standpoint of political stability, no matter which party you support.
