A case of attempted suicide now from Banglamung Hospital who admitted Khun Saranyar aged 18 on Friday Afternoon after she had ingested a large quantity of toilet cleaner after suspecting her Boyfriend was seeing another woman. She was admitted in a serious condition and was only able to speak a few words to Police Lieutenant Colonel Somshai, the Deputy Superintendent of Banglamung Police Station who investigated the case which occurred at house number 42/50 in Soi Neun Pleub Wan. The victim’s Boyfriend, Khun Pragon aged 27 explained to Police that Khun Saranyar would often accuse him of seeing other women which he claims was not true. The Police have decided not to take any further action in this case.

in some other countries it's the doctors who speak to the suicide victims and to the press, and not the police officers. There wouldn't be a police investigation and wouldn't be interrogation of family/relatives.
