I was kinda referring to the three very very good years before Covid fvcked the world,  the years with low inflation and low unemployment and two dollar gas, but you be you.

Which leads us to the question; how much of an impact on the economy does any given president have?

Turns out that U.S. presidents have very little control over the price per gallon consumers pay at the pump.

That is a fair point. A combo of the President plus Congress (who controls which House) plus prevailing conditions may be more accurate.  But the results speak for themselves.

A rather simple question for voters- were they better off under Trump (preCovid) or under Biden for the past 31/2 years?

.....and you think they take Trump seriously?

To be fair he does hold an advantage in some respects respect.......they know he doesn't think logically, so anything could kick off.

If Trump wins, he is going to sell the Presidency to Peter Thiel as soon as the charges are dropped and leave everything in the hands of Vance and 2025. Count on it. The Constitution will be dissolved and handed over to the theocrats and Opus Dei SCOTUS.

Harris is the best thing to happen to the Trump presidential bandwagon.

She’s gonna save my country from the crisis (called for a surge to the border)her administration emboldened !
Below is a example of what was going on until someone started investigating the program , which the impeached Mayorkas had to stop& untangle before starting it up again.

“An internal DHS report found in mid-July that the CHNV (Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans) parole program was overrun with fraud.

The program allows up to 30,000 nationals from those four countries to enter the United States each month if sponsored by a person or entity inside the country. But DHS discovered that thousands of the sponsors for these migrants had listed fake Social Security numbers, home addresses or phone numbers”.

People are simply starting to think, "was I better off in 2019, or now?"  and the answer is obvious.

While it's natural for people to compare their current situation with their past experiences, especially when evaluating the performance of a political leader or administration, it's important to recognize that the world is a complex and constantly changing environment.

Indeed, many factors that influence people's well-being and quality of life go beyond the control of any single individual, including the president. Global economic trends, technological advancements, natural disasters, and international relations are just a few examples of the various elements that can significantly impact people's lives, regardless of who is in charge.
Asking whether one was better off in a specific year, like 2019, is an oversimplification that fails to take into account the countless variables that shape the world. It's essential for voters to consider a broader context and evaluate political candidates based on their policies, values, and ability to adapt to changing circumstances, rather than just comparing present conditions to a single point in the past.

Thiel and Musk, one of the reasons Musk spends all day retweeting the misinformation from the named Russian assets on Twitter If Harris wins Musk, Trump and others are likely going to jail.

Trump is completely out of his mind now, so you think foreign leaders take anything he says seriously?

Point is - as others have said - your taking what could be seen at worst as a mild gaffe - and at best a loyal Vice President in a hugely successful economy - and trying to pump it up - when Trump lies - makes gaffes - and generally craps on - daily. Watch Kimmel or Stewart and have a laugh and take a break from your pro Trump mindset.

And what did Trump achieve in 4 years.

From what I can see and have read, for Iran he cleared a new path for them to make nuclear weapons.

As for China, he put tariffs on Chinese imports which costs China nothing as the US importers pay the tariff and pass the bill straight on to the US customer.

Such a brilliant plan.
