I'd be like a sandboy in a very large pile of sand to be able to live in a small room in Pattaya, as long as it had an ensuite and AC. Unfortunately the bureaucrats in home location decided not to give me the pension in LOS and that meant I couldn't afford medical insurance, and that meant I had to go back to home country.

Even without monging, Thailand was a better place to live for me, by far.

Home country is only good for those with loadsacash.
