I'll bet London to a brick the money's long gone ....  either spent already or transferred.

as for little miss Nongchai or whatever his name is,    she's probably working in Nana by now.

Yes, there's always one numskull to write such harsh statement.

You joined the forum, posting police?

What are you going to do next?........ Deport us!

If he's stupid enough to put money in a 15-year girl's bank when she's hanging around with a 35-year-old male, then he's either daft, or deserves what he gets.

Serves him right he lost his money, should have taken better care of his 15 year old daughter.

And put all their savings into her account?

Possibly because they owed money which would have been removed from any account in their name. Seems that went back to bite them.

Anyway, don't worry she will be back when the money runs out.

I hope that is the case. There is another possibility.

how so.

Probably the new woke definition of racism: saying anything factually true but potentially negative about a non-White person or people.

Dating a 15-year old is not paedophilia.

While true, a lot of people really can't stand seeing someone who has a relationship with someone under 18 not being called a paedophile.  As in, they get suspiciously angry about it.  🤔

Instead, they put the money in their daughter’s account, believing she wouldn’t touch it as she was a well-behaved girl who rarely left home or socialised.

Duh.

It's interesting that it never occurred to him that rarely leaving home or socialising might not be a sign of being a "good girl", or at least that it might make her easy to target and manipulate.

thinking it was just an adult showing affection. But the outings became more frequent, causing Narongchai to warn his daughter about focusing on her studies.

How naïve can you be ?

Shouldn't the police be able to trace the mobile phone to which the daughter's LINE account is attached?

What crime has she committed ? She took money from HER Account.

I wonder if he really thought that, or if he was OK with a romantic relationship and is now trying to conceal that fact.  🤷‍♂️

Absolutely agree, but she, a 15-year old, has gone missing from home and the police should investigate her disappearance if the parent has made the report.

but it's fairly obvious that the girl has been the victim of a romance scammer.

Are you suggesting that she's a leslian or tomboy?

No suggestion whatsoever that your bizarre speculation led to anything biting them, the reason for their decision was stated in the OP.   Debts owed to others are not "removed from any bank accounts" unless it's an overdraft or associated credit card debt.

Tragic for this couple and when the daughter shows up empty-handed.. How will that affect their family relations....suckered poor family.

bizarre most of you assume the girl has run off with a 35 year old man, granted the story does not actually mention the gender but Na is generally a females nickname.

Wild guess, more likely, or a no-so-educated assumption.
