A 63-year-old Norwegian tourist, Mr. Nicolaisen, died in his hotel room in Pattaya after an apparent episode of self-harm. The incident occurred in a hotel located in Soi 14, Pattaya beach.

At approximately 04:00 on October 20, the Sawang Boriboon Pattaya Rescue Centre received a report that a foreign tourist was acting violently and harming himself inside his hotel room. Emergency services quickly coordinated with local police and relevant authorities to respond.

Upon arrival at the second-floor room, number 103, they discovered the man lying naked in front of the bathroom. He was bleeding heavily from facial wounds, and there were large amounts of blood on the floor and bed, along with broken glass near the bed.

First responders attempted to stop the bleeding and checked his vital signs, which were found to be critically low. Despite efforts to provide CPR, Mr. Nicolaisen was pronounced dead, likely from severe blood loss. His body was taken to Bang Lamung Hospital for an autopsy.

Hotel staff reported hearing loud noises from the room and used a key to enter, finding the tourist lying in a pool of blood. Although he was still conscious at the time, his condition quickly deteriorated, leading staff to call emergency services.

Pattaya police are currently investigating the incident and reviewing CCTV footage to further determine the circumstances surrounding the death.
