2 Thai men wanted for staging accident, assaulting victim for cash
Police are searching for two Thai men who allegedly staged a road accident in Nonthaburi province near Bangkok before brutally assaulting a food delivery rider and stealing 1,500 baht in cash from him. A Thai netizen came forward seeking justice for the rider, 64 year old Chaiyaporn Poonmode. A female netizen shared a picture of Chaiyaporn with a bloody wound near his left eyebrow with a supporting caption. “Be careful. This incident occurred near the Caltex petrol station, Kaew Inn branch, in Bang Yai, Nonthaburi province. The suspects are still at large. I feel sorry for the rider. This rider has no wife or children, only an elderly mother.” In an interview with ThaiRath on Saturday, October 19, Chaiyaporn recounted the brutal assault, which occurred on October 16 at around 9.30pm while he was en route to deliver food near the Central Westgate shopping mall. Chaiyaporn revealed that he was in the right lane of Kanchanaphisek Road when a black Hyundai compact car without a registration plate cut him off. The Hyundai drove very slowly while a white pickup truck behind him honked incessantly. Both vehicles blocked and pressured Chaiyaporn until he crashed into the Hyundai. Chaiyaporn then pulled over to the left side of the road to address the situation. Although the pickup truck was not involved in the crash, the driver also stopped. Blindness risk The Hyundai driver demanded that Chaiyaporn pay 5,000 baht in compensation but he refused and insisted the matter be settled at the police station. Unexpectedly, the pickup driver got out of his vehicle, grabbed Chaiyaporn’s wallet, and stole 1,500 baht in cash. When Chaiyaporn attempted to use his phone to call for help, the Hyundai driver snatched it from him and began beating him. After the attackers fled the scene, Chaiyaporn sought help from other food delivery riders at the nearby Caltex petrol station. Rescuers arrived and provided first aid before taking him to the hospital. Chaiyaporn later told the media that he required five stitches for the wound near his eyebrow, that a bone near his eye was fractured, and that he is now at risk of blindness due to internal damage to his eye. Chaiyaporn is adamant that the two attackers deliberately staged the accident in an attempt to extort money from him. When he refused to comply, they physically assaulted him. Officers from Bang Yai Police Station later visited Chaiyaporn at his home for questioning. They assured him that security camera footage provided substantial evidence, and they were confident that they would arrest the suspects soon. Police seek 3 suspects for dumping woman’s body near cassava farm
Police are searching for two suspicious women and a man who dumped the corpse of an unidentified woman near a cassava farm in the central province of Uthai Thani yesterday. Officers from Lansak Police Station were alerted to the discovery of the dead body at around 3pm yesterday, October 20. The body was found on the side of the road near the cassava farm in the Lansak district of Uthai Thani province. The deceased was a woman aged between 30 and 40, with red hair. Amarin TV reported that the woman had no personal documents with her. She was strangled to death, evidenced by marks on her neck. Her head was covered with a black shirt, and her legs and arms were tied with red ropes. Her body was concealed under a pink blanket. Residents informed police that they noticed a brand-new white van driving past their homes and entering the road alongside the cassava farm. The suspicious man and woman exited the vehicle and walked into the cassava field. A local man, 65 year old Daeng, told Matichon and the police that he saw the van parked at the location where the body was later found but did not pay any attention to the vehicle. He did not expect such an incident to happen in the community. Daeng also suggested that the deceased was not a resident of the area and was likely murdered elsewhere before being dumped at the scene. The police are reviewing security cameras in an attempt to identify the two suspects. They located the suspicious van, which was parked at a nearby resort. The suspects had just checked out of the hotel this morning, October 21. Police urged any families with missing relatives to contact officers or Park Mueang Hospital in the province to assist in identifying the woman. Kor Ror 2 is the registration document. You require an updated KR2 from the Amphoe each year, or if a foreign registered marriage a KR22. Marriage registration documents (Kor Ror 3). Kor Ror 3 is the marriage certificate Copies of your spouse's Thai ID card and household registration (Tabien Baan). That's assuming your wife owns the property, what if it's rented. The topic isn't about requirements for an extension. I only mentioned it in reply to a member who appears to be confused between a Non O (Thai Embassy, and the non-existent Marriage visa from Immigration. -

Pattaya mat rental operator arrested for threatening official with knife - video
Police today arrested a mat rental operator who threatened a municipal official with a knife after being warned not to offer the service on Pattaya Beach. The municipal official, 43 year old Chalermphon, filed a complaint with Mueang Pattaya Police Station at around 12.36am today, October 21, after narrowly avoiding the knife attack by the mat rental operator, later identified as Prayote “Yok” Robmanee, on Pattaya Beach. Chalermphon explained to the police that he was patrolling the beach to issue warnings to food vendors and mat or chair rental operators, instructing them not to profit from public beach space. He encountered Yok, who took over a section of the beach and was forcibly charging beachgoers for mats, so he issued a warning to Yok. Yok ran away from the beach, so the official followed him. Unexpectedly, Yok pulled out a knife and attempted to stab Chalermphon, prompting him to step back. Chalermphon managed to record the incident and later handed the video to the police as evidence. In the video, Yok is seen walking away from the municipal official saying… “What do you want from me? You took my 11 mats away last time.” Yok hurled multiple vulgarities at the official as he fled the scene. However, Mueang Pattaya Police Station managed to arrest Yok the same day in Soi Buakhao. Yok claimed he did not intend to attack anyone but said the municipal official threw rocks at him. He explained that he merely wanted to scare the official off. Yok was charged with carrying a weapon in a public place without a valid reason. The penalty is a fine of up to 100 baht, and the weapon will be confiscated in accordance with Section 371 of the Criminal Law. In a related incident, a municipal official is seeking justice after two Thai men attempted to assault him when he warned them not to urinate into the sea in Pattaya. The official revealed that the two men followed him to his office, displaying violent behaviour as though they were about to attack him. The two suspects also refused to pay a fine for urinating into the sea, stating they would only pay if the court issued an official document ordering them to do so. ? Is 100/hour suitable for part-time maid in CM?
I never heard of anyone paying by the hour - we pay 500 baht for a day and our very experienced maid helps with everything. You may not find a Thai person but I think most of this type of worker in your area is Thai Yai from Burma and they mostly do good work. When I was in town, I paid 500 for the day and the maid would do a great job and finish in 4 hours. That was 8 years ago but I bet she would love the same job back...
