Govt Plans to Boost Education and High-Tech Workforce
As usual, they fail to see the big fence standing in front of all the minor roadblocks. They must start with primary school education and work their way up all over the field. -

Recommendations for Hotels and Things to See in Hanoi
I've only been away from Ha Noi 6 months and already I've forgotten about Ho Chi Minh Museum, Ho Chi Minh House Don't bother with Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum unless you want to wait in long queues like at Disney. Opera House, check if there's a concert on Ha Noi Flag Tower and the Imperial Citadel B52 museum and B52 Lake Catholic Cathedral I echo this, I always take visitors to see it 'cos I never tire of it. Get tickets early morning for the evening shows. And remember, if it's only 3 days make it a weekend so the road around Hoan Kiem Lake is closed, there might even be an event on, there is most weekends. -

British Man Drives 500 km to See 'Lamduan,' Sisaket’s Baby Hippo
I think I ran out of things to do & see here. Wait a year or so, then see what's new. I've driven silly distance to see or take a photo of something, just for the hell of it. ... golden triangle, where all countries are visible from on viewpoint, but always seemed to be smog season, so crap photo ... as far east, just to take photo of Cambo border imm ... same with as far N & W ... went to most southern part to take photo of that plaque, then thought screw it, after ~1000 kms, decided the last 11 kms wasn't worth it ... and the most narrowest part of TH, and seems to be a few of those -

Trump Works at McDonald’s claims Kamala Harris 'never has
Despite what right-wingers claim, Harris' father wasn't a professor Marxist Economics. "Both in essays and in the classroom, Dr. Harris argued that market economies should be inclusive rather than monopolistic. Some of his scholarly papers analyzed Marxist economic thinking, but by the early 1990s, “he had become more realistic, because he’d learned along the way,” said Anne Krueger, a conservative economist and fellow Stanford professor at the time. “He certainly had more faith in government than some of us did. But among the people I knew as Marxian economists, he was not there.” https://archive.ph/uB5eZ Not only that, but he retired early after Jamaica asked him to help reform their economy. -

Trump Works at McDonald’s claims Kamala Harris 'never has
Hey, let's let 10-20,000,000 illegals flood across the border to suppress wages and boost housing costs, and housing costs, and then we'll start talking about minimum wages and taxing the rich get the numbskulls to vote for us! Then we'll "fix" the "broken" immigration system by making all the illegals citizens. What say you Harris supporters, it's perfect, yes? Demography is Destiny! -

Thailand’s Bold Move: Decriminalising Sex Work Sparks National Debate
Indeed, there are plenty of jobs available everywhere, but you probably don't like to work. Sitting in a bar with free drinks and occasionally checking the paintjob on the ceiling of their "customers", but that's not what Id call working. -

Yahya Sinwar’s Gambit: A Failed Attempt to Reshape the Middle East
Never going to happen under Netanyahu, who has opposed a 2 state solution for decades. The closest to that was under Yitzhak Rabin, who was assassinated in 1995, which allowed the opposition(Netanyahu) to seize power.
