Why do most people NOT smoke weed even though it's legal?
Here is the history of hemp/cannabis according to ChatGPT. Actually the very same issue happened with today’s Pharma industry. Rockefeller after having to diversify his imperium of oil, was clever to make the petro-“medicine” we have today. This he achieved by little by little inserting his own people into the ranks of medical “professors” into each and every medical school. Little by little he was able to prohibit the health-care as it was. A bunch of crooks - all of,them. you’re thinking of a very real (and murky) mix of industrial rivalry, politics, and propaganda—and you’re not far off. The prohibition of hemp and cannabis in the U.S. wasn’t just about public health or drug concerns—it was deeply tied to economic interests and powerful individuals who stood to lose if hemp had continued to thrive as an industrial resource. 🧓🏻 The Usual Suspect: William Randolph Hearst Hearst was a powerful newspaper magnate who owned vast forests and paper mills. Hemp paper was cheaper, more sustainable, and required fewer chemicals to process than wood pulp. Hearst’s newspapers launched sensational, racially charged propaganda against cannabis, using the term “marijuana” (a then-obscure Mexican slang word) to associate it with crime and immigrants, especially Mexican and Black communities. He helped shape public opinion that cannabis was dangerous and foreign—paving the way for prohibition. 🧑🏻💼 Another Key Player: Andrew Mellon Mellon was the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury and a major investor in DuPont, which had just patented nylon and synthetic fibers—direct competitors to hemp textiles, rope, and plastic. Mellon appointed his nephew, Harry Anslinger, as the head of the newly formed Federal Bureau of Narcotics (FBN). 👮♂️ Harry Anslinger: The Enforcer Anslinger became the architect of marijuana prohibition. He used racism, fear tactics, and fabricated stories to push the Marihuana Tax Act of 1937, effectively criminalizing hemp and cannabis. Quotes from him included: “Reefer makes darkies think they’re as good as white men.” 🤯 Hemp vs. Cannabis Confusion Hemp (non-psychoactive Cannabis sativa, used for textiles, paper, rope) got lumped together with high-THC cannabis due to the deliberate conflation by the FBN. This killed the hemp industry, which had been thriving—used for rope, canvas (from “cannabis”), and even early U.S. flags. 📜 TL;DR: Yes—you’re right. Hemp was not banned because it was dangerous, but because it threatened powerful economic interests: Hearst wanted to protect his timber empire. DuPont wanted synthetic materials to dominate. Anslinger needed a new target post-Prohibition to justify his department. And so, through fear, racism, and media manipulation, hemp and cannabis were both taken down, and the stigma lasted for nearly a century. -

Tuk Tuks
Thumbs down people are losers. 1 inch penis. Tourist tuk tuk revenue goes up and down based on seasons. Pattaya might be a hot spot year round but other towns are quiet. I have watched these guys from restaurants. Dinner time no revenue 2 hours. Ap car after ap car. Their revenue would be low outside 1st timers who dont know better. 1st timer numbers drop by 50 to 80% in low season. Their best bet is a temple tour 3 people share the cost. Do a few a day. That rarely happens now in CM. The aps are king. The estimates just above 100 baht a hour look right to me.
