Georgealbert Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 An incident on Thepharak Road at kilometre 11 in Bang Phli District claimed the life of a 34-year-old Myanmar woman after a motorcycle carrying a family of three collided with a six-wheeled truck. The woman’s husband and eight-year-old daughter sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital. On October 27, at approximately 15:30, Police Lieutenant Colonel Suntharaphon Jatoom of Bang Phli Police Station received reports of a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a six-wheeled truck. Emergency responders from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation were dispatched to the scene, where they found Mr. Tai, 44, and his eight-year-old daughter, both Myanmar nationals, injured. The mother, identified as Ms. Nan, was pronounced dead at the scene due to severe head injuries caused by the truck’s wheels. Rescue personnel provided initial medical assistance to the injured father and daughter, transporting them to Bang Phli Hospital for further treatment. Ms. Nan’s body was sent for autopsy at Ramathibodi Chakri Naruebodindra Hospital. According to a preliminary statement from the truck driver, Mr. Anuchai, 44, he was making a right turn at the intersection when the motorcycle reportedly lost control and collided with the front of his truck. Tragically, Ms. Nan was struck by the truck’s wheels. Police investigators have yet to confirm the driver’s statement, as they plan to review CCTV footage and gather further witness testimonies to clarify the exact circumstances leading to the collision. Lets hope the CCTV if available sheds some light on the accident and if the truck driver is being truthful
JeffersLos Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 It looks like the truck was parked alongside the curb, then pulled out right, into the lane the scooter was driving in.
