I'm a recent, within the past few years, viewer and fan of JRE. He has loads of interesting individuals. He doesn't interview, he talks about subjects with his guests who usually do have specific ideals.

In his last comedy special he addresses the crap he talked about covid vaxx and then got covid. Praying he wouldn't die because he talked so much s*&t. He goes on to say any moron who takes medical advice from a podcast host is a moron.

If he's so popular how come not many people have heard of him.??

He only appeals to a very narrow segment of the population.

Same with Alex Jones.

Although, many have heard of Alex, even if they wish they had not.

Nobody wants to be associated with a crying poor man, Joe Roagen have a interesting  life, an important voice for many, and do have interesting conversations with a wide specter of people, and let them speak.

For me, he has way too many interviews with MMA fighters, comedians, sports figures, etc., so these I just skip.  His interviews with people of some substance, though, can be ok.  He comes across as not super well-informed and not super intelligent but not dumb either. A regular, straight-forward guy who has genuine curiosity and enjoys talking to people.  Politically, he took what I consider an unfortunate turn during the pandemic and seems a bit audience-captured, but again, I just skip the interviews with politicians.

I think you would be suprised if Joe did take an IQ test, there is no coincidence he have succeded with what he do in the sports, as comedian, or a host for one of the biggest pod casts in the world.

No, no one can explain why Joe Rogan is so popular to any normal person. I'd guess he's only popular with young men whose bodies are flooded with testosterone.
