Popular Post Georgealbert Posted October 30, 2024 Popular Post Posted October 30, 2024 In the early hours of October 30, a fire broke out in a two-story wooden and concrete house on Soi U-Thong 18, Praeksa Road, in Samut Prakan’s Mueang district. Prompted by a vigilant American Bully dog barking incessantly, nearby residents sprang into action, alerting authorities and helping to ensure the safety of the home’s elderly owner. At approximately 02:10 officers from the Samut Prakan Police Station received an emergency call about a house fire. Local fire trucks and rescue teams from Bang Pu Municipality and the Ruamkatanyu Foundation were quickly dispatched. On arrival, they encountered intense flames engulfing the house, with thick smoke billowing into the night. Firefighters worked for over an hour to bring the fire under control, but the blaze had already consumed the entire structure. The 71-year-old homeowner, Ms. Chalor, who has some hearing impairments, recounted that she was asleep upstairs when awoken by the commotion outside and she detected a strong odour of smoke. Alarmed, she made her way downstairs to discover flames spreading from the lower level. Fleeing through a nearby window assisted by her neighbours, she escaped unharmed, though visibly shaken. She reported having no gas appliances in use inside the home, relying only on a charcoal stove outside, and had only her refrigerator plugged in. Neighbour Ms. Thanida, 29, who owns the American Bully dog that initially detected the fire, explained how her dog’s persistent barking alerted her and her partner. When they went outside, they saw flames erupting next door. “We quickly called the authorities, helped Ms Chalor and tried to contain the fire with a garden hose, but the flames were too intense and spread quickly,” Ms. Thanida explained. Though the exact cause of the fire remains undetermined, heavy rains and thunderstorms were reported in the area that night. Ms. Chalor suspects the fire might have been triggered by lightning. However, other neighbours, including Mr. Arun, 56, who was also woken by the commotion, noted that while it was raining lightly, he didn’t recall hearing any thunder or lightning. Authorities have secured the scene and documented evidence. Further investigation, including a forensic assessment, is underway to determine the precise cause of the fire. Bravo Fido! she could have had a different dog instead, many dogs have performed in a similar way. This in no way lessens the inherent danger posed by these creatures They should be banned, 1 2 1

I've had Pits for 20 years + and no issues, fantastic dogs. I've had them with many other dogs at the same time, no drama's at all. The get a bad rap coz of idiot owners and shallow minded people like you who have no idea and make stupid comments. Should we ban vehicles / alcohol / cigarettes lighters? they can all be dangerous in the wrong hands too, right? Anyway petal, back to your little safety bubble... 1 1 1

Every single day there are people calling for stuff to be banned, cigarettes, vapes, alcohol, cars, the list is endless. No reason at all why I cannot add dogs to the list is there? They are potentially dangerous not only for attacking people, but also by spreading disease via their disgusting excrement Why would anybody want to keep a potentially killer beast in or around the house is a mystery to me, is it something to do with projecting their "masculinity" bit like a tattoo on a rope, ? There certainly seems to be a particular "type " of person attracted to these beasts they normally have goatee beards and shaved heads. presumably the dog, often adorned with some sort of studded collar presumably for visual effect is considered an essential part of their "hard man kit" truly pathetic . Ban them all they are nothing more than <deleted> machines 1

Do you seriously think it was deliberately warning people that there was a fire ? 1
