In the year 2025: Did you ever imagine you would make it this long.....????
Dear Folks, I never thought I would make it to the year 2525. Yet, here we are. Why? Must be good genes.... Right? So, the question is..... Do you think you will make it to 3535? If you believe in God, then you will.....indubitably so. But, will Man still be alive? Already, we have cried a TRILLION Tears..... Has it all been worth it? If so, and you believe it, then do you have any valid evidence to support your view? I really never believed that I would live to the year 2000, at least I never believed this back when I first heard this tune. 1969 was a very good year..... It was a very good year for small town girls And soft summer nights We'd hide from the lights On the village green When I was seventeen Now, having lived to the year 2525, which really was not so easy.... We will be sad to go, when we must. Yet, maybe better to go now, rather than to live until the year.... 3535. Nothing remains the same. At least for us. Those who see Time progressing in only one direction. Do you ever try to escape, if only in your own mind.... To better times. When you were seventeen. Does anybody still recall: FRIDAY WITH FRANK? I know that I do. Such nostalgia, you don't want to know about it. 2525 will be a very good year for all. But, still, this year will be shorter than last year. The aging process, so tragically, causes time to be perceived as traveling faster, and faster, the older we become. 2524 has now passed, and RIP. On with 2525...now.... Family Injured After Blanket Gets Caught in Motorbike Wheel

A family of three was injured in a motorbike incident early on the morning of January 2, in Chonburi Province after a blanket wrapped around their child became entangled in the vehicle’s rear wheel. At 00:05 the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Rescue Centre in Pattaya received a report of a motorbike accident on the road near Pattaya Country Club, Moo 4, Khao Mai Kaew Subdistrict, Bang Lamung District. Rescue workers rushed to the scene to assist. At the site, a blue Honda Wave 125 motorbike (registration number from Chonburi) was found overturned at the side of the road with minor damage. The driver, Mr Sarawut, 28, suffered minor abrasions, while his wife, Ms Orasa, 23, sustained injuries to her left ankle and abrasions on her body. Their four-year-old daughter was more seriously injured, with a fractured left leg and multiple abrasions. Rescue workers provided immediate first aid before transporting the injured to a nearby hospital. Mr Sarawut explained that he and his wife were riding their motorbike home, with their daughter seated between them. Due to the colder weather, they had wrapped their daughter in a blanket for warmth. Unfortunately, the blanket became entangled in the motorbike’s rear wheel, causing the vehicle to crash. Authorities have urged motorcyclists to avoid using loose or long fabrics while riding, as these can easily get caught in wheels or chains. -- 2025-01-03 -

Where to travel out of country for 2 days?
There are many countries now visa free to China. Not sure of OP's nationality though. You can obtain an evisa for laos to use at that border. It's a good trip. I've done it, but for a 2 day trip the OP asked about, definitely needs to fly both ways. Bangkok to kunming took two fulls days by train.
