Hey everyone.. I have read through many posts on Tourist Visas applications and usage;

so I am informed. However I just want some additional clarity. Does anyone know:

1. Is the consulate in Toronto Canada still issuing Double Entry Tourist Visas? and any change to requirements?

2. Is this scenario really possible for me with no problems?? (ideal/hypothetical situation):

August 15 2007 - Issued double entry tourist visa with 6month validity from Thai Consul in Toronto

September 8 2007 - Enter Thailand and activate first 60days of visa

November 2 2007 - Extend visa for 30 days in Silom area Immigration office

December 4 2007 - Leave Thailand via PoiPet Cambodia and immediately re-enter and activate second 60 day entry of Tourist Visa

February 1 2008 - Extend visa for 30 days in Silom area Immigration office

March 3 2008 - Fly to Penang Malaysia to try to source a single entry Tourist Visa

Please I am looking for feedback on this and if it looks correct and 'official/legal' ... Thanks!!!

1. Have no knowledge on Consulate willingness to issue 2 entry visa but suspect prior use will play a part in that decision. There is nothing wrong in using as you plan but most would probably be less likely to issue to someone with a history of doing so than a virgin passport where they expect the traveler to exit and return to Thailand during an area visit. You could still obtain a single entry so if a double is what you want I would make the request.

2. Yes you can do as described but suggest you extend a few days early each time as it still starts on the same day and you avoid possible overstay that way.
