A serious crash involving a truck transporting undocumented migrant workers occurred in the early hours of November 6 on Asia Highway 41 in the Tha Chana District, Surat Thani. The collision, which took place at approximately 02:45 resulted in four fatalities, nine injuries, and two individuals fleeing into nearby woods.

The crash site revealed a severely damaged Isuzu pickup truck with a closed cargo area, license plate from Bangkok, which had crashed into the rear of a white Scania trailer truck, license plate from Samut Prakan. Emergency responders from Kusonsattha Koh Mook Foundation arrived quickly to assist and transported the injured to nearby hospitals.

According to reports, the pickup truck was carrying 15 undocumented Myanmar nationals from Bangkok, bound for Phatthalung Province. Three passengers were declared dead at the scene, while one succumbed to injuries later at Tha Chana Hospital. The nine injured were rushed to Tha Chana and Chaiya Hospitals for treatment. Two individuals reportedly fled into the surrounding forest following the crash, and authorities believe they are undocumented migrants attempting to avoid apprehension.

The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation, and officials are working to verify the identities of those involved. The police have also initiated a search for the two missing individuals.

It is time to make getting workpermits easier than all the paperwork that is required now... That is the main cause of why so many people work without a workpermit.. The processs is long and a lot of paperwork for every workpermit even for the same company...Thailand still can't work with a scanner to put all documents in a computer but need still paper copies of everything everytime... Not 21st century anymore

Well, for example take a look in your home country, is it there better?

I don't think so, even if you try to take a Thai person to that country  only for a holliday.
