Donald Trump Secures Historic Swing State Sweep

Featured Replies

Donald Trump has secured a sweeping electoral victory, clinching the White House by flipping all seven key battleground states, including Arizona and Nevada. The announcement of Arizona's shift to a Republican majority on Saturday evening marked a significant milestone in Trump’s remarkable electoral comeback, as he garnered all 11 of the state's Electoral Votes. This swing from 2020, when Arizona supported Joe Biden, contributed to Trump's substantial Electoral College total of 312, compared to Vice President Kamala Harris's 226.

In Arizona, the Trump campaign found significant traction among voters frustrated with border issues, as many voiced dissatisfaction over the migrant crisis. Trump’s hardline immigration stance resonated with the state’s voters, many of whom echoed his concerns. His recent rally at Arizona State University in Tempe underscored his uncompromising position on illegal immigration. He passionately declared, “It’s the first time I have ever said that and every time I get up and talk about what they’ve done to our country I get angrier and angrier.” He condemned current policies as turning America into “a dumping ground” and “a garbage can for the world.”

Politico reports that Trump’s sweeping wins extended across Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. In Nevada, Trump took all six of the state’s Electoral College votes with a decisive 51% to 47% margin over the Democrats. This marked the first Republican presidential victory in Nevada in 20 years, the last being George W. Bush’s success. Trump's campaign efforts in Nevada similarly highlighted issues of national security and border control, key concerns for the state's voters.

Trump’s victories also imply significant shifts in federal governance. With Republicans expected to hold majorities in both the Senate and the House, along with a strong conservative presence on the U.S. Supreme Court, Trump could wield considerable influence over American policy as he re-enters office.

Trump wins it all. Well done. Seems that abortion, insurrection, being nasty to criminal illegal immigrants, rejecting MMCC, drilling baby drilling, and various unproven accusations by women were not enough to make people vote for the worst man in the world's opponent in sufficient numbers for him to lose.

Makes me somewhat cheerful in a sad and nasty world that the forces of darkness were defeated in at least one battle.

The over the top trans issues probably hurt them the most. The pictures and visuals in the campaigns on those were hard to unsee. 99% of the country isn't playing that game.

It's mystifying how Trump won so easily. Guessing most of you heard Kamala did come from a middle class family AND worked at McDonald's. How was it that she didn't win by a landslide with those credentials 😜

You can assume this will cause a ripple effect to other western countries

I do nto think it was so mystifying. I think instead the people were mislead by fake poll results showing Harris running neck and neck with her in the campaigns. I think most people (even Democrats saw Harris for what she was. A puppet controlled by her handlers and unaware of politics or policies needed to attract the people. Her word salads and giggling (although cute) showed her ignorance many times. People wanted to believe her but she constantly displayed a hate Trump rhetoric rather than addressing issues the people wanted to hear. You can not win an election based on hate attacks against your opponent.

.Big name Celebrity

endorsements for Harris had little or no impact.

Who would have thought Hulk Hogan had more voter influence than Taylor Swift and George Cloony

True, despite many posters saying the Swifties were going to listen to "Tay Tay" and vote for Harris. How did that work out for them?

Hogan is a much more serious character than Swift/Clooney.

at some point, people get fed up with the rhetoric when things only get worse...   one would be, out of a job, about to lose your house, car... and seeing illegals living la vida loca in expensive hotels with 3 meals, snacks, pocket money, free healthcare and on top...  robbing and raping on top... those countries that released criminals to be 'deported' to be someone else problem...  massive influx of illegal that deny you service to things you contributed too...

Yes, and how fake were all those guys then, never mentioned tay tay before in their entire lives, all of a sudden they were her biggest fans.

I see Putin has said he is keen to get negotiations under way. Xi looks forward to better ties to America, Hamas ready to talk, hooties ready too...... guess trump isn't laughed at by all world leaders, as claimed here the other day by a screetchy Harris loser.
