Does anyone know of a broker that allows for a custodial account for a minor to invest in US stocks or ETFs? My son is a Thai citizen and I would like to put some money for him in an S&P 500 ETF to let it compound through the years. Anyone doing this from Thailand? Thanks.

Fidelity has a few options. Does he not have a US passport/citizenship also?

Fidelity will let you open a joint account with an minor as well, which is pretty easy.

How old is he? If you have earned income and he works at all, you might want to open a Roth for him.

He is not a US citizen and neither am I, thanks for your help anyway

I believe you can still open a Fidelity account for yourself, and once that is open, open a joint account with your son.

My wife is a Thai citizen and has her own Fidelity account, though there are some limitations on what she can invest it.
