Well come back to who’s crying once Trump enacts a few of the Project 2025 agendas.

Ah! Project 2025 again. Ok so give us some examples of what it is from Project 2025 that Trump will enact. If you're not willing to do that then it's time to stop going on about it. Of course Trump claims no ownership or involvement with Project 2025.

It is a "grift".

Donald Trust loves money, wants money, needs money. Money is central to his whole personality, as a super wealthy man, with all the trappings, as a magnificently successful businessman with the absolute midas touch (!) and that in turn feeds into his political life. The Presidency itself doesn't bring a lot of money, expenses paid, relatively modest salary, nice house, but not money, the money he loves, wants, needs.

Elon Musk has money, an awful lot of it.

It is a grift.

Ramaswamy may bring some initial political legitimacy.

what did trump achieve in his 4 years as the president "emptying the swamp"? why does he have to do it now again?

Apparently some on here were asleep for Trump's entire first term. Be assured he won't be employing any Sessions disasters this time.

I wonder if the poster you quoted looks under his bed every night to see if Project 2025 is lurking there.

Elon is a smart cookie, and Vivek is no slug. But the Washington swamp is deep and treacherous.  They need to come up with a plan that is so quick and effective, that the swamp monsters don't have time to react or wreak vengeance.

Something along the lines of a blitzkrieg attack - a full court press across multiple fronts that prevents the various swamp creatures and TLA agencies from helping to defend each other and bog the two Likely Lads down in litigation.

I have no idea what that might look like. Maybe something as simple as disabling all the access cards and cellphones of a selected  80% of government employees at 02:59 on a Sunday.

Whatever they do, they have to wreak instant havoc in every department to avoid being devoured by the swamp.

And let's face it. If every government department did absolutely nothing for a month, the world would be a much happier place. I think Musk is well aware of this. He would have no issue with government coming to a total standstill. :coffee1:

Dismantling all gov access cards immediately brilliant if  musk/vevek can pull it off

The federal government is preparing for a major shift as one of Silicon Valley’s most renowned disruptors, Elon Musk

Elon Musk has centered his operations in Texas, not Silicon Valley.

Easiest place to start is the Education Dept. Shut it down. Fire them all. It's not only useless, it is a part of the federal government that has seen objective analyses of its area of responsibility decline rapidly since its beginning. Then, move on to Justice and move out the time wasters, obstructionists, and DEI plants. Defense has too many generals and their toadies, too little ability to oversee and audit expenses. If an expense cannot be accounted for, people need to go to jail and the sum extracted form the next budget. And considering their disastrous performance over the past 50 years, State needs to be entirely dismantled, reconstructed, and overseas palaces such as the one in Bangkok sold off or rented out as condos to Russians and Chinese.
