The biggest fraud is implementing a system where the UK Government can treat its pensioners unfairly based on where they live even though they have all contributed the same.

Tosh, chummy...

Keeping folk up to date on things is one of the things the forum is for, if folk on the fiddle don't like it, up to them......🤔

People call me a liar on my first-hand knowledge, even a member of staff here posted similar about a friend getting stuffed, but you folk on the fiddle don't like facts from others..

My chum who was taken by DWP is now in his last days on earth, I see him every week for a chat, last week, we got on to DWP looking at bank accounts, his wife brought up the money she paid back, she said, 250,000bht...

Her words, way back when my chum said he paid back 5000 quid, yeh, back then it was around 25,000 bht, so, going to call me a liar again........🤨

You stated you are a liar earlier,I'll dig it out.you stated it was for something else too, other than OAP,I'll dig it out  ( member of staff )is a far flung comment, another"I know someone brigade"was untrue.  I'll dig it out

Not having a pop at Labour or Conservatives per se

Why Not, they deserve all the bad press we pensioners can give them, they are all a bunch of thieves with one difference, the Tories just ignore everything but Labour covers it up by paying lip service and then lying by saying they make it up in different ways but never do.

Politicians and civil servants get the best state pension payout in the UK and it is index linked

I called the DWP today and mentioned the OP,s topic on here and yes they are aware of it they said....however they advised me to take no notice whatsoever in his ramblings......they then went on to wish me and any other British expat pensioners here a very happy Xmas and prosperous New Year.....👍

Was told that too, lady stated "you know what happens, when we pay you" they know too well,so stayed unfrozen from that info

I do not know the details of the UK legal system, but I suspect that if that law passes and is enacted, then it will come with carte blanche subpoena powers and the government can check where the pension funds are first sent, and then if it is a UK bank they can summon the transaction records of where the funds are then transferred to, etc..  So just depositing the pension in a UK bank and on the surface thinking things pass muster, you might be surprised.

They are only looking for people with over 16,000 pounds savings claiming Universal credit.

Your speculation beggars belief.....there are millions in the UK claiming benefits in one form or another....so you seriously think they will target pensioners who have their pensions paid into a UK Bank as to are they actually resident or not :whistling:

This thread was started by the OP as his pension is frozen and he is peed off that other folks here are receiving theirs in full....sad chap IMHO 👍

Thread was actually started by a newsbot re-reporting a Pattaya Mail article that was flawed.

It was,but there are influencers here that pick up on that.the only way to establish truth is by asking DWP directly (no answer) or A1,it's good.......chatgpt

. how many unfrozen ex pats have been sanctioned receiving unfrozen in frozen land blah blah ?.  None,  same with co pilot etc . people who state other wise are bitter and angry at losing a ton of money

....but his conscience is clear.......and that apparently sustains him.

OAP in Thailand retired for 12 years on frozen pension in2014@ £107 per week will lose £72.384 up to this year on £223 a week       one hell of a lot more than I thought originally
