It only seem like a step up from the advance passenger information system the airlines already send when booking and checking in - people with multiple passports has reported being met with raised eyebrow and questions at arrival immigration counter when switching passports in the air now - so the system is ready - it's a matter of the 'custome facing' e-visa site that might need to be worked on

Less flippantly, thanks @chuang for asking - you saved me bothering - hopefully they won't have implemented it by Feb 2025 when I go to Thailand visa-free for the first time in decades 😊
