Intoxicated tourist detained after Pattaya restaurant altercation
Why would he mention French... he's an anti-British bigot... not and anti-French bigot... If there reports were of a person speaking French fluently... there would be nothing to trigger his boring rhetoric. -

Transferring to new passport -- bankbook funds need be over 400K?
Can't remember any Report that you have to show proof of Money when transferring Stamps from old to new Passport. Have done it twice since I'm living in Thailand, one time Pattaya and the other time in Hua Hin, never asked for. -

Problem with constipation at 82.
PEG 4000, sold as Macrogol. It dissolves in water, has electrolytes added. It works in about 12 hours. It is a stool softener, not a laxative. Harmless, non-habit forming. It functions by drawing water into the colon, making the feces soft. IIRC 500 baht for 20 sachets. I use it if the bowels have not moved for a couple of days. Nothing wrong with high fibre, but if laxatives are included in the formula it can be harmful long term.- 1
