The UK (and many other countries) really should stop issuing passports to people who don't have at least GBP 30k in the bank and an IQ under 90.

If it's your thing, fine, but there are British chaps, like me, that I can assure you do not smell off piss.

Perhaps go a bit more upscale with your fun venues..............

Another idiot riding a bike in Thailand. Why is it that foreigners who would normally drive safely in their own countries, drive like idiots in Thailand? Is it something in the water here or maybe the alcohol and dope.

That is a good explanation 🙂

I am from England and get confused myself, English. Scottish and Welsh people are still British despite Scotland's intent on independence (which the majority of people from Scotland have voted against in referendums) which slowed down when the former Scottish prime ministers husband was implicated in many crimes 🙂 devolution and independent country governance for NI, Wales and Scotland has been in place for a while now.  The only independent country and part of the EU which the UK is not now and has caused civil wars in our small islands in that part of the world in the past (Northern Ireland (UK)/ Ireland (EU) ) is also now on the mend hopefully, but personally I think it will take another couple of generations to forget the Irish conflict completely.

Yes, when the terms of the policy are complied with, ffs.

What are the terms...  We don't cover any accidents FFS!!!

Read them, FFS, then you'll know, no one is forced to buy policies that do not suit them!

Insurance companies are not allowed to pay out where criminal acts are concerned. It is against the law if they do.

So if one is riding a scooter without a helmet or a valid driving licence, or whilst drunk or under the influence of drugs etc the insurance company should not be paying out.

Insurance companies are not stupid; they do not cover m/c riding, they know what the consequences are.

Travel insurance does cover motorcycle riding if you choose the right policy. My guess is that even if he had the correct policy, he was likely unlicensed for a scooter which would then have them decline coverage.

Im retired up north, but this is why I don’t go near tourist areas on my bike
