"Fake" is an inappropriate word in this case. It's a false accusation of genocide. Pro-Palestinians are equating a large number of civilian deaths with genocide and that's just wrong. According to the definition of genocide used by the U.N. in the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, the intent mof genocide is "to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group." See Article II at https://www.un.org/en/genocide-prevention/1948-convention Israel's intent is not to eliminate the Palestinian people but Hamas as a terrorist organization. A large number of civilians have died in Gaza because Hamas used them as human shields to protect its tunnel system and other military targets. The situation is akin to the civilian deaths caused by Allied aerial bombing in Germany and Japanduring WWII. An estimated 100,000 civilians were killed in the fire bombing of Tokyo, while over 100,00 civilians immediately died from the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The Dresden fire bombing killed at least 25,000 civilians and the bombing of Hamburg about 43,000. Tens of thousands of other civilians died in the bombing of other cities in Japan and Germany. Why would the Israel bombing of civilians in Gaza be considered genocide when the Allied bombing of German and Japan isn't?- 1

Renting an EV in the UK - pros and cons
I will be visiting the UK for a holiday with my wife and daughter from mid March to mid April next year, and I will need to rent a car for 30 days. I can drive stick shift but, having got used to automatics for the past 20 years here, I much prefer automatics. However, in the UK an auto ICE is at least 50% more expensive to hire than manual. Electric cars are available at around the same cost as manual ICE cars (e.g.- 750GBP for EV compared to 1,200GBP for ICE) so it makes sense to go EV. I believe that charging stations are plentiful in the UK, so I'm not concerned about that. I have never driven an EV and I will be getting off the plane and literally stepping into one (looking at an SUV Jeep EV). So my question is: Is there any significant difference in driving an EV, compared to an auto ICE. What do I need to know? Any advice is appreciated. -

Trump the convicted felon gets off so why not Bidens son?
The very first day that Trump is in office he will be issuing pardons to all the January 6th participants that were convicted of crimes. Almost all US President's issue pardons, especially at the end of their terms. Nothing new here other than it was a President's son that was pardoned. -

What low/medium price wine do you recommend.
I've seen that movie, however IMO there is a far better one called, "Bottle Shock" which is based on a real event and pertaining to, "The Judgement of Paris 1976" which was a shock to the whole wine world, but I won't say more, other than the movie is easy-going/light-hearted with a few other events woven into it, but the base of it is true and is well worth watching........and Alan Rickman stars in it!!
