Just as an aside, I dont know how ChatGPT works but on Microsoft CoPilot, you can defeat the mealy mouth Leftist programming by asking direct, simple questions in cross exam style, viz:

What US statutes cover pardon?

What constitutional provisions cover pardons.

Is there a law that covers pardons for family members.

Are there statutes that preclude open ended pardons for unspecified criminal activity....

Follow up with similar questions depending on the answers.

You can also ask it not to nag you with woke is an and be direct. You can also train it to be whatever bias you want it to be. It's pretty cool what you can do on it. For example instead of asking about pardons if you really just want to make a debate you can say tell me about why trump supporters feel about Hunter's pardon or whatever you want. By default it has a left bias but you can instruct it to do whatever you want with in reason.

CHATGPT "translate this into Kamala speak"

you've got an AI sidekick that can be as sweet as a summer breeze or as savage as a debate team captain—you get to pick. Need it to talk pardons? Done. Want it to sound like it's on a Trump-supporter tirade? Bam. It’ll happily switch gears to whatever bias or tone you want. Default setting is “lefty,” but, like a chameleon on espresso, you can make it say whatever fits your mood. It’s like training a pet, but instead of fetching slippers, it’s spitting out info.

The only life ended was that of a trump suppoter

It was a life lost, shame you don't think of the lives lost by your hero, Putin........😒

Biden was always in it for himself and his crime family.

So no surprise his final act would be pardoning his delinquent drug taking prostitute using gun toting son.

Stands to reason.

Why change now?

At least this ends the debate about him. Even the lefties on the legacy media are agreeing this was a very very low final parting shot and an insult to the American people.

Add this to Kamalas drunken exit video and it's clear why Trump won so conclusively.

This man is NOT a champion of justice. He pardoned Manafort, Kushner, Bannon and how many other criminals? Justice only means something to him if it is his enemy receiving it. Trump would not know the meaning of justice, nor law and order, if it bit him on the ankle.

Foolish talk.

Trump pardoned or commuted 237.

Obama 1900 plus.

Do some basic research before commenting. Trump had the third lowest number of pardons/commutations of any President since the year 1900.

Irrelevant comparison.

Most of the acts of clemency by Obama were commutations, and most individuals concerned had been arrested on drug charges during the war on drug.

I did do the research. Now feel free to explain who double-launched the brazen racial attack on African-Americans during the drug war.

Apologize to the forum when you answer.

Why that. How does it makes the numbers you cited more comparable? 🙂

My point is that these numbers are not comparable because the composition of the two populations is different.

It doesn't matter under which President they have been convicted. It wouldn't make the two numbers you cited more comparable.

I just told you why Obama issued so many commutations. And by the way, George W Bush was the man who moved first to undo the scandalous racist attack launched against African-Americans by the Democrats in the 1990's.

A true stain on the Democrat party and it's unbelievable that they were not seriously punished for it by the A-A electorate.

President-elect Donald Trump has fiercely criticized President Joe Biden's decision to pardon his son, Hunter Biden, who faced potential prison sentences for federal felony gun and tax convictions. In a post on Truth Social on Sunday, Trump lambasted the move, calling it a "miscarriage of justice" and questioned whether the pardon extended to the Jan. 6 Capitol rioters.

"Does the Pardon given by Joe to Hunter include the J-6 Hostages, who have now been imprisoned for years? Such an abuse and miscarriage of Justice!" Trump wrote, drawing a comparison between Hunter Biden’s pardon and the treatment of those incarcerated for their roles in the Capitol attack.

Trump's reaction highlights a significant shift in his stance. Months earlier, during an October interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, Trump had entertained the notion of pardoning Hunter Biden himself, should he return to the White House. While Trump denounced Hunter as a "bad boy," citing allegations linked to the infamous "laptop from hell," he expressed reservations about the broader implications for the country. "Despite what they’ve done to me... I happen to think it’s very bad for our country," Trump remarked, signaling that a pardon might be in the national interest to quell political discord.

President Biden’s pardon spares Hunter significant prison time related to two federal cases brought by Special Counsel David Weiss. Over the summer, Hunter was convicted on three felony counts connected to his purchase and possession of a firearm while battling drug addiction. Later, in September, he agreed to plead guilty to nine tax-related charges, including three felonies, narrowly avoiding a contentious trial.

Initially, President Biden had vehemently denied that he would intervene on his son’s behalf, emphasizing judicial independence. Yet, on the Sunday evening after Thanksgiving, in a low-profile announcement, Biden reversed course. In a statement, the president defended his decision, framing it as a response to relentless attacks on his son and their broader impact on him as a father.

“There has been an effort to break Hunter - who has been five and a half years sober, even in the face of unrelenting attacks and selective prosecution,” Biden explained. “In trying to break Hunter, they’ve tried to break me - and there’s no reason to believe it will stop here. Enough is enough.”

The move has reignited debates about justice and accountability, with critics arguing that the pardon demonstrates political favoritism and a rewriting of ethical norms. Supporters, however, view it as a necessary step to protect a family subjected to extraordinary scrutiny and personal attacks.

As the nation grapples with the implications of Hunter Biden’s pardon, Trump’s criticism reflects the deep political divide over the issue, signaling that it will remain a contentious point in the months leading up to his own return to office.
