Hi Guys

Currently, I am able to go in and out of Thailand and stay up to 30 days per entry. This can be used only for 90 days within 6 months. If I have used up my 90 days in 3 months, I can apply for a 60 days tourist visa to gain entry into Thailand for another 60 days and extend another 30 days which add up to 90 days. All these add up to 6 months already. So can I gain entry into Thailand using the free 30 days per entry since the 6 months are over? Can I repeat this process? Thanks alot.

90 days on visa-exempt stays plus 90 days on a tourist visa with extension makes 180 days. This in not six months. If you want to stretch it to a minimum of six months you can either get an extension of 7 days on one of your visa-exempt entries or when you go for your tourist visa spend a few extra days outside Thailand.

Do your calculation carefully, as both the day of arrival and the day of departure are counted as days spent in Thailand. Take your passport and a calendar and see how it works, or even better use a spreadsheet calculation.
